Why do I need a subscription? Just a one time fee for the app is best.
I really just need a mapping app that lets me set the shutter speed and ISO for missions. I don’t need any help processing. Why isn’t there an option to just pay a one time fee for a capture app? I’m even cool with something like $50. I just don’t want to sign up for a subscription where I’m paying for post-processing (I’ve already got that stuff figured out).

It’s shoddy. Missions are tough to create and tough to execute. The results are poor. You can’t use video on some things. My drone came home and just stopped working. I can’t figure it out. I can see the camera view but the drone isn’t flying at all.
Excellent app but missing Mavic Air 2
This looks a great alternative to Pix4D capture but two main points.
1. I couldn’t see the option of changing altitude of the drone for each waypoint? This is a must have feature especially for surveying mountains, landslides, coal tips etc. this would be a brilliant feature. Please can you add it?
2. Where is the support for a Mavic Air 2? The SDK is available and other mapping apps are using it so very surprised this new drone hasn’t yet been added to this app. Please can you add it?

Hammer is our go to app for automating commercial inspections.
Features are expanding all the time and the developers are responsive to feedback.

The best app for DJI inspection projects
Hammer is by far the best app for DJI projects. There are many out there but this one has the best functionality, superb results and great support.
Very well thought out missions that really help you get the best results.

Almost works well
Has so,e strange bugs. I think I could get it to work but there’s a few glitches that cause camera heading setting to change that shouldnt cause that to happen. So getting it to successful save a mission that you intended is difficult.
Best dji flight app
I had this app suggested to me for its ability to carry out the mission even if it loses signal from the control. I’ve been doing some large scale woodland survey’s and it does exactly what it says.
This app has so many different options of flight missions that I can’t wait to try them out.
The best thing about it is the guys support. I had a few issues at the start and I emailed them about it and they got back to me straight away and helped me resolve the issues and are even now working on something that I suggested to them.
Top guys, top app. 👍

Subscription?
Was about to download and give it a whirl until I discovered it’s a subscription. Not paying 240 a year for any app or 960 for enterprise. C’mon guys.
Large Missions
Didn’t have much luck with large missions (think 40ha, three battery changes). The app became unresponsive, or unable to process completed area and resume from last point after the craft power cycled.
There’s supposed to be an option for splitting large areas, if it exists, it’s not very prominent or intuitive. I had to edit the flight area each time and ended up with some gaps in the resulting image-set.
At the time of planning the mission the App gave no warning or suggestions to split the map, or that the flight would not be achievable without payment. Only found this out when onsite with limited mobile/cell coverage, not ideal.
$9 well spent on learning it wasn’t a suitable option.

Intuitive & Great service & support
We started with Hammer as an early trial customer & have enjoyed seeing how well & far this platform has been developed by the support team. Although we are new to mapping & inspections, Dragonfly Drones are so pleased with Hammers platform & the results that we obtained that we will continue to use & work with Hammer as our go-to solution for mapping & inspections for all future customer requests.

Great flight app
Part 107 commercial drone pilot with over 200 missions to date. Tried several flight apps in an attempt to complete these missions from aerial thermography to tower inspections. Just recently completed a tower inspection with Hammer and was very impressed. Looking forward to using more of their flight missions as the opportunities open up.

The drone app on the market
I have been flying drones for many years now and have used many flight planning apps. Now I just use Hammer. It’s fantastic with many great features. It’s a must have!
Unique functions, constantly improving
I tried this app because I wanted to experiment with drone mapping at a smaller scale than most apps are designed for, and Hammer allows for low altitudes in flight plans and a very useful fly-to-draw feature. As a beginner piloting drones I’ve relied a lot on the Hammer reps to help me through basics during my trial and they have been very responsive about explaining - and refining features that allow me to do the things I want. Well worth a try.

Best Mission Plan App for DJI Drone Yet!
I’ve been a Beta Tester for this app almost since its infancy and even then it was better than most apps that had/have been out for years.
The app is intuitive, precise and very easy to use. I haven’t used all of its missions, but for those that I have I have had great success. There’s not one mission planning app that can do a multiple mission in one flight.
The developers have bee number one in my books. Every time I had a question or a concern, I didn’t even have to wait a day before I received a response, and not one of those “Our support team has received your email, bla, bla, bla...”
I highly recommend giving this a try, and once you try it, it is a very good chance that it will be your “GO TO” mission app.
I tip my hat to the creators and their team for stepping things up in this highly competitive and volatile business!

I’ve only used this app on one occasion so far which was a roof survey for an industrial building.
The app was very easy to use & allowed me to plot the mission from home which avoided having to waste time on site. There was a one-off per flight fee to pay which was a simple procedure prior to the flight.
The mission as fully automated with the drone stooping in flight to capture each photo. The images recorded were sharp & I had a satisfied customer. Job done.
There are plenty more applications that I need to explore but from this single use I would be happy to use the app again.
I have given this 4 stars because there was an error with the payment process & I was charged 3 times, although a quick email to Hammer & I was refunded without issue.

The perfect DJI drone mission automation
Hammer has features you will not find in other packages. Like line inspection for pipeline surveys or fence inspections. Survey missions for roof inspections where the drone stops at each point before taking a picture.
We are using Hammer for many surveys where an automation is suitable. The company is reacting rapid fast when it comes to feature requests or bug fixes. The communication is great and we have a very close connection with the team.

Crashed my DJI Mavic Air
I never had issues with DJI Go, Litchi or others.
The first plan seemed to work but with the second attempt drone first raised couple of feet, stayed there a minute and when called back to home, went straight to a wall. I am more disappointed with how it prevented obstacle awareness of the DJI.... I sent a message to customer service. Hope to get an answer.
Update: after discussions with the developers, Hammer engineers blame satellites, DJI engineers etc except their app. They cannot explain how Mission app bypasses DJI’s obstruction avoidance system.
Most important this company does not have a physical address in the US. I tried to sue but not in jurisdiction.
Beware.........
