New Community
I always swore I would never get a new social media after MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram all eventually got crowded with politics, spam, and privacy issues, but Hammr was a new concept of a social media designed specifically for people in the trades, so I gave it a shot.
Hammr is a great way for talented craftsmen and craftswomen to showcase their work and take pride in what they are doing. It’s also a great place to learn about new ideas and trades within the industry with the overall goal of making us all more successful. I’m excited to see what all happens here in the future.

Best forum for any construction
I’ve been on Hammr for probably 6 months and it is truly a forum for work related things, you can post pics of your projects and even ask for help, the peeps on here are more like a community, always helping to build and no one upping. The creators have made it easy to use and must of had luck on there side because every member I’ve talked to has been amazing!!!

I have been on Hammr for a few years now, I have enjoyed all of the content and the ability to connect with other likeminded professionals. The ability to meet people in the industry outside my geographical area allows for more collaboration or meeting of the minds. Recommend it to everyone that I meet when I travel and we discuss professions. If you are in the building industry and haven’t downloaded it you should.

Construction safe space
This app has allowed me to showcase and share my work with fellow workmen. Construction work, jokes, motivation, etc. are all shared on this app. True craftsmen will enjoy this app. Go communicate with others, like posts and keep using the app!

For the Blue Collared
I found an app that’s been designed to bring the Blue Collared workers to one place. I like that it’s similar to the Instagram App, but it’s just for the hard working Americans. I’ve been on here for a month, and I know it’s just the beginning, but I think this might link my Company with Contractors that would be looking for my line of Work. I’m a Very Small Business, Owned and Operated by myself, from running my equipment, repairing it, to working my office. I’m looking to link with and get inspired and learn some things about other trades as well! It’s not just me that loves the hard work I do!! We are everywhere!! I’m the Sixth Generation Tradesperson in my family. I have a lot of respect for the Blue Collared workers!! Building America Up!! It all starts a solid Foundation! Find me on here!! Great app thats going to be big
This app is great to share your work or look at other tradesman work in the industry. Cool way to organize your posts into different jobs which is unique. Everyone on the app is super friendly and helpful. Overall id recommend to anyone in the trades who likes to see pictures of peoples pride and joy and share their own.

The place to connect regarding actual work
I really like LinkedIn, but in construction it tends not to be about the work we’re accomplishing in the field. This is a place where you can connect to people who are posting images of work being done and best practices! I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time!

I dont come across alot of people on a daily basis who still have the fire burning. Who love what they do who strive to be the best at what they do. 90% of the guys i work around are probably within 10 years or retirement and work has just become a paycheck to them. In one night with the app ive found more people who have the same fire as i do than i have in the 10 years ive been in the trades. I can share my work with people ill probably never meet with a positive response and i can see what other people are doing. Hammr is fantastic. Kee the fires burning.

Love this, easy to navigate around the app. Organized and definitely user friendly. Love getting to see trades and the projects going on around the country and near my living space. Definitely recommended to anyone in the trades looking for an app to share work.
Better than I expected
So I teach shop, and my thoughts going in were that I’d be a bit of a fish out of water- far from it. I’ve been able to share projects my kids are working on with the community and get great support. It’s nice to be able to scroll through all the construction/ trades related posts without all the BS fluff on other social networking sites too. 5/5

Absolutely wonderful form of social media
Hammr serves as a perfectly suited place for craftsmen young and old to share their passion and talents with others. Spurring inspiration in myself, a young carpenter, and helping to do the same for others (hopefully).

I have recently joined the Hammr community. The community of tradesmen and construction professionals is something that everyone in the industry should experience. It has the ability to open your eyes to different areas of construction, without having work experience in those areas. I believe it is also a powerful tool for creating a positive and beneficial work based social network.

Like a Simpson connector, Brek has created a unifying app to bring all of us together in our own platform and away from the pictures of peoples dinners and vacation pics. This app is great to follow tradesman and see how things are done in all parts of the country!
The app we needed in the trades.
It’s great to see an app that not only brings us “tradies” together, but also brings value to anyone using it. People often think that being in the trades is somehow less valuable than an office job, or some corporate gig. Apps like this not only help us recognize our value as masters of our craft, but is also a great tool for creating a community.
