Lose open tabs

App is great for hands free scrolling, works perfect.
However, open tabs always get banished to the shadow realm with the exception of the last one you were on.
Woulda gave 5 star if not for that. Still great app just keep in mind tabs mind poof.

Wish we can pay to remove ads.

There are ads very often that pop up. I see no option to get rid of them permanently. These ads don’t appear on my other browsers.

I so want to give this 5 stars

I just downloaded it, I’ve desperately wanted a hands free scroller. It works, but is very buggy. First, while the little hamster showing up as you touch is cute, it is also very annoying and makes it harder to type correctly. Second, using it with Reddit, the screen goes blank and I have to reload the page every so often. Pages load very slowly and the screen is not very touch responsive, so I don’t know if I should wait or tap again. I really want you to keep working on this because I need this to work so I can scroll and knit at the same time!

Hi oneskweek, many thanks for your feedback. If you'd like to stop the hamster from appearing when you touch the screen, you can disable the 'Show cursor' option in the settings menu. Regarding your issues with Reddit, if you're still having problems, please send a message to support@hamsterbrow.com with any details/screenshots/videos of the problem and I'll take a look at this for you as soon as I can. Very Responsive Autoscroll

I enjoy importing PDFs and reading them in the app with the aid of the auto scroll feature. My only question is if there is any way possible to save the page number of the PDF I am reading? Each time when I return to the app, the page number is automatically readjusted to zero, and I always need to scroll to pick up where I left off. Nevertheless, the app is an amazing time-saver.

Love this app, been using it for many months after the idea came to me one day and I searched and found it already existed. Helps a lot with carpal tunnel. I have not had any issues using it.

messages

i wanted to use this to scroll through messages (for example instagram direct messages) but it doesn’t work, is it possible to fix this? apart from that really good and cute looking app

It’s a little bit hard to learn how to use this app at the beginning. But when you’re used to it, it’s kind of helpful.

Doesnt work in insta dm only works on the feed so annoying really had hopes for this aap

Way to much

There are to many different features that change how the app will work and evening the lowest speed is still way to fast if you are trying to read something.

Even at slowest speed still too fast !

For my purposes even the slowest speed on the slider is still too fast ! Is there a way of slowing the scroll speed further ?

Setting the initial reading angle is very important, so may I recommend holding your device slightly tilted back from vertical when enabling scrolling in Tilt-to-run mode. What an app! What a great idea! Really useful when standing doing other stuff. You can tailor the speed you want.

Nice idea. Kill the hamsters

The tilt to scroll is actually really nice to use. If it was just that I’d really like the app.

But the hamsters are just confusing before installing and annoying afterwards. Please stop hamsters popping up on every tap!

Hands free!

The app is pretty cool as it allows me to read my favourite websites without touching the screen. The auto-scroll feature is smooth and works as directed :) It is nice when using an ipad in bed and reading long websites as I don't have to touch the screen! Also useful when on public transport and holding a bar; I can still use the internet by just tilting my iphone with my freehand while holding the bar with other hand. Also nice when eating and having gooey hands! The animal themes and noises are cute and give a new experience on the boring web! The cat and hamster are very very cute.
