Impossible
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great hanafuda game, however I might have a feeling that in Normal mode, the AI opponent is tweaked. What I mean is for example, when I start a match, no matter what, if I have a pine card, it always ends up with a crane in their hands. If I have a cherry blossom, It Always ends with the curtain. When I have a susuki grass card, It Always Has A Moon In Its Hands! No matter what, no matter what kind of combination I attempt, it’s tweaked, Almost as if it’s cheated to have more light cards than the opponent. The Game is good, the bots are suspicious. This game is absolutely amazing and you’re able to play it without any Wi-Fi. I would 100% recommend to any of my friends extremely fun game and it helps me relax
Fun but missing a few quality-of-life features
In particular: 1. I'd like to be able to review what cards have been scored while deciding whether to "koi-koi" or "stop." and 2. When I touch a card in my hand and begin to drag it, I'd like to be able to return it to my hand if I change my mind about which card I want to play. (Right now it often plays the card even if I drag it back to my hand area.)

Barely any Fun!
Too many Ads!! I can barely play ONE round without getting hit with so many ads!And good trying to listen to your music while playing. It constantly cuts it off while playing.

Great implementation, but the advertisements are very aggressive for such a short game, and they occasionally break and force you to restart your game.
Been playing this for years
Excellent game; the AI is well coded. I love the card designs and the shuffling/playing animations. I highly recommend this if you’re looking to turn your brain off for a little while, as you can even change the length of the games as well.

Yaku Scoring Discrepancy
The point values in-game are different from the ones in the rules. (E.g. the rules say goko is 10 but I got 15 for it, the rules say ameshiko is 7 but I got 8 for it)
Fun but ads ruin it
Really obnoxious ads. I’d gladly pay to remove them, but not sure if you can.
Useful for learning how to play koi-koi
Wish it was online or two player as it has been noted in other reviews, but also finally feel like I’m picking up how to play koi-koi after using other apps and reading a book to describe gameplay. I really enjoy how the app separates out your captures as you go along and highlights what yaku is possible and what yaku you are close to attaining. Like other reviewers have said, I wish the koi-koi decision screen was moved slightly out of the way when trying to decide if you can score again before choosing to koi-koi or not! I know this app is older but I think there’s a lot of use here still to be gotten out of this.

picking cards
you can't pick which card you get if there are two cards of the same month on the table. literally a core mechanic is being able to pick which cars you get.
Doesn’t Restore Previous Purchases
I paid to have the ads removed and since I updated the new app doesn’t allow me to remove the ads or restore my previous purchase to remove ads. Since now I’m stuck with a gazillion stupid adds.
Portrait to landscape
Is it possible play the game in landscape, the cards are layered very close together and you can’t see picture.

Too many ads
I really enjoyed the game, but there are so many ads that you can’t get through one set without watching 4 to 6 ads. Kind of frustrating.
Opponent on hard
Opponent on hard will never koi-koi…when scoring on the first hand or to keep from losing on the last hand. That’s not an opponent it’s just a scoring machine…get points and stop. Uninstalling.
Wish it was multiplayer game
I’m enjoying this game. It’s worth the purchase option for no ads. Only gave it four stars because I would love it to be a multiplayer game.

Almost Great
This is a great game for playing koi koi ... if you already know how to play. All of the sets and card types are only in Japanese so if you don’t know what the sets are before you play you’re completely in the dark. The app also doesn’t rotate and the cards are so small that out can be hard to see. It’s a great game just has some accessibility problems.

Nice, but too many advertisements

I played this game a year ago but I stopped playing it because the ads were getting annoying but when I came back to the app I found the remove ads feature but I also noticed the music wasn’t working I tried checking to see if my device wasn’t muted I am muted my device and still heard no music but still the game was good OK never mind might BGM was off
