App isn’t working
Everytime I click on the app to move my funds around it tells me “This device does not meet the minimum security requirements for this application. Please contact the app publisher for more details. The application will exit when you press OK.”

No option to lock card
Card was lost on a Friday night. No option to lock card in the app and could t get any help over the phone. This might make us switch banks.
Where's debit card control feature
I searched internet and it based on the bank's information, says their app has a debit card management feature in their mobile app, and I even watched a demo how to operate the feature. HOWEVER, my Hancock Whitney app, just downloaded from App store, never shows up a function like this. How come??? So, I haven't activated my new debit card, and don't want to risk losing my money.

The new iOS 26 update has revised its security requirements and due to that revision I’m no longer able to access the app
A 1st year coder wrote this app.
This app is so basic and not user friendly. EVERY SINGLE DAY I have to go thru their verification process before it will let me log in. Every day a new code texted. When you have a first year coder writing your app scrips he will have no idea how to handle a VPN or basic app design. Keep in mind this is the same bank that still have ATM’s that dont accept cash deposits.

What I love about this app
I love this app because it is quick easy very simple to work and understand. I love to make transfers and allows me the amount of time that I need when going back-and-forth from one account to one to the other, I would highly recommend it.

When is the new app coming back as the old app is really basic?  When is the newest updated app returning? It was nice for a few days.

Broke It When They Fixed It
Used to be ok for doing what it did. On an iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 18.5 with the latest app update, and it just crashes or fails to open 99% of the time. It doesn’t help that all app support roads lead to nowhere, so the only option is to write a negative review. Even when it did work, functionality was meh. I mean, it’s 2025 and my banking app cannot search my recent transactions by vendor!?! It needs help on a number of levels, but at least it used to work.

Late /bounce fees too much
The app itself is great! So maybe this is just the bank. But late fees/bounce fees are too high. There should be enough time to get it fixed before a fee pops out.
But also, my only probably with the app, is sometimes with all of the transactions I can’t tell how much I really have it there cause it’s all a bit slow, causing late fees.
I still use it a lot though instead of actual pen and paper. So I still appreciate it!
