About
A 3D flight simulator built around the way Tokyo Haneda Airport is actually operated.
FEATURES
- Seven real Haneda approaches (34R straight-in over Tokyo Bay, 34L parallel ILS, 16L downtown route, 16R to Runway A, 22 curved over-water approach, 23 to the D Runway, 04 to Runway B) plus free flight
- Wind and crosswind matched to real operations. Fly the runway heading and you will drift off the centreline, so you have to crab into the wind on final (wind strength is adjustable in the settings)
- Real aircraft flying near Tokyo right now, shown in the same 3D space from live OpenSky Network ADS-B data
- Terrain rendered from aerial imagery by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan
- Morning, day, sunset and night, with runway edge, centreline, threshold and approach lighting plus PAPI after dark
- Lift-based flight model: stall, buffet, sink and the flare
- Every landing is scored out of 100. Soft touchdown, centreline, touchdown zone and speed/attitude are each rated with stars, and your best score per approach is saved
- Customise your aircraft's livery (six presets plus individual colours for the fuselage, stripe, tail and engines)
- Virtual stick controls, synthesised engine, touchdown and brake sounds
- Available in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese
HOW TO PLAY
Fly with pitch, roll, rudder and throttle, and touch down on the runway at the right attitude and speed for a LANDING CLEAR. Too much sink rate, too much bank, or touching down off the runway ends in a crash.
Fly a real approach into Haneda, with real traffic and real terrain around you.
