Yes, it’s finally here. Someone finally did it and thanks to whoever that may be! Such a fantastic resource to any student of Arabic finally at our fingertips. It works brilliantly btw.
Best Dictionary
I honestly don't know what I would do without this app. I go to a Muslim seminary (Qalam) and Arabic is a thousand times easier with this! Highly recommend! (although some knowledge of Arabic is definitely required to use the app)
Extremely useful but ugly
This is no doubt an extremely useful app, a MUST-HAVE. But, it’s sooo ugly and the text is so poorly scanned, in many places, it’s difficult to read the Arabic text. Was it not possible to license the source material for a reasonable cost? I wouldn’t mind paying for this app if it was done right.

Nice Book in an App
Seems simple enough to scan all the pages and make it into a searchable app and to make it free. But nope, I bet it's not! Thank you so much to everyone involved in this endevour to make it available fr everyone.

For reverting back to the old font and layout as this is the best it can be. Please, please, please do not ever digitalise it again as it really made me think about not using the app anymore and simply using the hardback dictionary, which would have been a great shame as the app would enable me to look up roots much quicker. All in all, the Hans wehr is the best Arab eng dictionary on the planet and is a must for all serious Arabic language students who come from an English language background.

The dictionary was already in good shape, but with digitisation it is easier to read and pleasant for eyes. Great work guys.
