About
HanziBee helps you learn Mandarin Chinese vocabulary and remember it. Every word you add is scheduled with FSRS, a modern memory model, so you review it right before you would forget it.
REVIEW
Look at the word, reveal the answer and tell HanziBee how it went: two buttons, no guesswork. Example sentences come with pinyin and translation, a daily goal keeps your streak honest, and words you keep forgetting are flagged so you can give them extra work.
LISTEN
Play a clip and pick the word you heard. Clips come from the words due today, at normal or 0.75× speed, and anything you mishear twice comes back as its own set.
READ
Graded stories from HSK 1 to HSK 7–9, each with comprehension questions. Tap any word for its meaning, then add it to a deck in one more tap. Pinyin on or off.
WRITE
Draw each character with your finger. HanziBee checks every stroke against the real stroke order, and Show me plays it back when you get stuck. Writing has its own review schedule.
GRAMMAR AND PARTS OF SPEECH
HSK words show their part of speech. HSK 1–5 stories point out the grammar and set phrases they use, such as 因为…所以… and 虽然…但是…; tap an underlined word for a short explanation.
DECKS
Start with the HSK 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 deck, HSK 7–9 (a free download) or a topic deck, or build your own. Paste a word list, for example from Pleco or Anki, and every word links to its full dictionary entry.
PROGRESS
See your streak, the cards you reviewed this week, month or year, your accuracy in vocabulary, listening, reading and writing, and how many words you know.
WIDGETS
Your words on the home screen and the lock screen.
YOURS, OFFLINE
