What does it mean if it says 38 processed with 26 errors, exporting to USB stick? Worried that I’m going to lose my photos since I asked to delete after export

Hi Brian! First: Your photos should be safe. Three safeguards are in place when choosing "delete after export": 1. The App verifies that the photo's export files are on target disk (with size > 0) before marking the image for deletion. If the export throws an error, typically the files are not written and thus nothing gets deleted. 2. All Photos marked for deletion get deleted not before additional final confirmation of you - the deletion confirmation dialog appears after export; if unsure, do not confirm. 3. Even if images are confirmed and thus deleted: all deleted images are kept in your "deleted images" album for 30 days. You can view, select and undelete them with your System Photos App. Second: On the errors. If the target device is full or faulty, errors may occur. Not sure what caused the errors on your end without looking into details. Feel free to share some details or the latest export log file so that I can analyse further. Amazingly simple and so good

You would not believe how complicated and such a pain it is on iOS to just export photos externally without a pc. This app takes the hassle out of the process and works perfectly. Totally free and highly recommended. Thanks to the devs for no ads, no IAPS just a lovely to use app. Cheers.

This is a great app that is easy to use and does the job beautifully. It addresses a major gap with photo management on Mac OS. Also, the developer is very responsive with support.

Funktioniert einwandfrei und flott

Erst einmal vielen Dank dafür das Sie das Programm kostenfrei anbieten (2025/02). Ich konnte so schnell und unkompliziert Backups meiner Fotos auf externer SSD erstellen. Duplikate werden automatisch übersprungen. Die App macht was sie verspricht und das anstandslos. Vielen Dank.

It works great - but doesn’t work in background.

I was able to export my entire 64gb photo library to USB. Just note that you cannot switch away from the app while it is working – Apple doesn’t allow background applications to save photos.

Thank you for your feedback. The limitation in background mode is enforced by iOS and the app can't change that. In V1.31, I added a notification to the user when the App is switching to the background - as a reminder to switch back. Hope that helps!

Excellent piece of software that exports photos and video from the photo library without issue. I have found this to work well without any issues. A thank you to the developers; and it’s free!

Works perfectly ever, maybe the best.

I did it tried to my iPhone 13 pro max (iOS 17.6.1)
Works fine !
No error occured ever.
All methods are perfectly works even experimental features too.
Now I can store my old memories to external USB drive and could be avoid online junks.
Thank you for making this app !

Fair und praktisch

Eine App, die hält was sie verspricht. Die Funktionen sind gut geordnet und nicht hinter irgendwelchen Abos/Paywalls versteckt. Besonders das vermeiden von Duplikaten finde ich sehr hilfreich :)

Nice and fast!

Exported 50 thousand photos in one go to a USB-C disk connected to the iPhone - smooth and fast with 150 MB/sec (iPhone 15 pro max to Crucial X9 SSD).
Files are complete and well sorted - perfect for transfer to a windows PC and my synology NAS.

Macht was es soll und zwar flott.
iPad Pro 2023, USB-C Export auf eine Crucial X9: 150 MB/s, 20.000 Bilder am Stück. Klasse.

Great little app

Thanks for that. Picture export is swift and works as intended. I am using different Photo libraries and unfortunately it won't let me select which one I want to use. It seems to work only from the system photolibrary. Other than that...great job!

Crashes within seconds

Lots of promise but it crashes within seconds of starting the export. There’s no way to contact the developer and the website is just bogus.

Sorry to hear you had problems - not sure why, but versions 1.12-1.26 contained a couple of bugfixes though - I have improved contact and bug reporting options in updated version, and some maintenance has been applied.
