HappyPlant

Official app for adolescents and families participating in the SmartCHANGE study. The HappyPlant app, developed by ConnectedCare is part of the SmartCHANGE Horizon EU project, which has been funded by the European Union under Grant Agreement #101080965. The HappyPlant app allows users to choose their own virtual plant and take care of it by taking care of themselves. To start, provide some data about your current health behaviour, such as your sleep, diet and physical activity parameters. Based on this information, users that are part of the SmartCHANGE Pilot Study will receive a future health risk prediction. Based on these predictions, healthcare professionals may set weekly goals that challenge you to improve your lifestyle on the relevant domains (activity, sleep, and diet). In the HappyPlant app, you may choose daily or weekly challenges that help you achieve those weekly goals. Every completed challenge will grant you 'water', the resource that you use to help nurture and grow your virtual plant. Note: An account for using the Happy Plant app can currently only be obtained by becoming a participant in the research study performed in the context of the SmartCHANGE Horizon Europe research project. Participants of this study are recruited in accordance with all the ethical and legal guidelines regarding health studies in Europe and their respective countries (see www.smart-change.eu).
