Can’t Endorse AI Art in Good Faith
I’m a longtime listener of the GROGPOD and it’s genuinely exhilarating to hear about one of the hosts creating their own roguelite deckbuilder. Even better, to weave it seamlessly into the shell of a productivity app is a phenomenal feat. The bones of this app are fantastic. However, just like the criticisms you levied on your recent podcast episode on Mewgenics, I’d much rather deal with text and numbers or shoddy art (a la Dream Quest or Slay the Spire beta art) in lieu of AI art which is obviously made by AI no matter how you rhetorically spin it or how many times you reprompt it. This is a huge calamitous issue affecting the environment and economy, and I can’t help but shake the feeling that it takes the wind out of the sails of the theme of the game which criticizes billionaires, capitalism, harmful tech, etc. only to use said harmful tech. I’ll update this to a 5 star review if the art is replaced by human art or removed from the game altogether because there truly is a fantastic game under the surface here.

Absolutely Incredble
Probably the coolest app I’ve ever come across. Very motivational and very fun with a cyberpunk vibe I’m in love with. Love the cards, the character building and the progression.
What a unique, well executed idea!
Wow. Just wow. Truly an amazing app that will help you tackle any to do list while having fun. I always felt like there should be a more fun way to approach to do lists and building habits, and this is it! There are other apps that try to gamify growth and productivity (e.g., habitica), but they aren’t actually that fun or truly game-like. Hard reset is a legitimately fun standalone game, and I found it to be genuinely fun and motivating. Well done devs! Can’t wait to keep using this.

Great solo dev effort
Making games is hard, doubly so if you’re the only on the team. I’ve been following developments this for a long time and it’s really grown on me.
Striking, unique art, interesting gameplay decisions, fun enemy designs, it’s all here! The combination design of productivity app plus Slay the Spire-like mechanics makes for a fun and unique experience, too.
