What's New in Hardware Keyboard
1.5
July 9, 2026
Version 1.5 is a larger keyboard update focused on typing accuracy, hardware keyboards, and autocorrect control. - Improved touch accuracy and reduced nearby-key misclicks. - Improved hold, latch, and release behavior for more reliable typing. - Expanded the local dictionary and improved autocorrect suggestions. - Added a plain-English rule maker for saved autocorrect and custom text rules. - The companion app has a rebuilt autocorrect/logic area with clearer controls, moved hardware keyboard settings, a simpler rule composer, and easier access to saved custom rules and lane setup. - Hardware keyboard users now get a new autocorrect selector. Use Option + arrows to move through suggestions, choose left/middle/right candidates, and roll through more options without leaving the keyboard. - The selector now moves left and right through the middle suggestion, so it is easier to recover from a side choice. The unsupported Ctrl + arrows shortcut has been removed. - The suggestion bar now uses previous-word context, handles missing or doubled letters better, and keeps custom rules in the lanes where you assigned them. Corrections appear as suggestions you choose instead of replacing typed words automatically. - Control Mode now stays on Custom until you explicitly pick Hardware or Software.
