Too easy to accidentally cancel request!
I use this app all the time and love the convenience, BUT if I’m not super careful and barely touch the “cancel” tab, my request is automatically cancelled. Would help if there were an “are you sure” tab.
Easy to use and convenient
I love that HCPL has an app - it makes it that much easier to utilize all the amazing things the library has to offer! So far I have used it to search for books, reserve them, and view my currently checked out items. I believe you can also listen to audiobooks and read ebooks through the app, which is really cool. Definitely a recommended app if you use the library!

Wonderful app, except for one thing
I absolutely love this app. Easy to use and navigate. I just have one complaint that I wish they’d fix.
When you scroll down the list of books that you’ve requested, if you aren’t careful, you can easily hit the “cancel request” button. Once it’s been hit, there’s no going back... you’re out of the queue. I’ve done it several times. 😫
It would be a 5 star rating if the designers put in an “are you sure you want to cancel?” question before going through with the delete request

HCPL is Amazing!
The library has been such a blessing to our family. I’m amazed at the work that they do and the service that it provides to our community. This app is yet another thing that makes their service more accessible. I was delighted when it was introduced and I use it consistently, as do my teens. I’ve seen improvements over time, for example there used to be a problem where I had to login nearly every time I went to use it. Clearly, that has been resolved. So, certain usability and stability issues have arisen (filtering by media type, for example), but it continues to improve consistently. THANK YOU HCPL! Keep it up! We love what you do and are grateful.

Would not recommend
Not a great app if you want to read mostly on your phone the response of the app is pork with very bad technology it will keep you loading and loading until you finally get to your account and when you get to your account it is just a blank white screen if you search of a book it will say no matches no matter what the book is that app is very frustrating for me and I almost threw my phone at the wall in frustration the app is not very good and technology and would not like to recommend to anyone who depends on their phone for a good decent at that actually works
