It’s time for an update. I got this app because my friend learned with it and I started learning. Now all these months later I am very confident with my perfect pitch and so is my friend. Mind officially blown and I’m a believer. The app is really easy to use and updated all the time, I emailed the dev and he knows his stuff and exactly how my learning experience was. He also fixed everything I ever mentioned quickly. Everyone needs this app.

I love hearing everything users like and where they struggle and if you ever have more feedback you can always send it to me directly using the "Contact Us" feature under Settings. I'm very excited to hear that HarmoniQ has helped both you and your friend pursue perfect pitch so successfully! As you implied, unlimited lessons and Skill Challenges are premium features, though I recently made some changes that might help. It's important to me that everyone is able to learn perfect pitch and I'm always optimizing HarmoniQ to provide the best possible service. 1. I had not intended to use a "daily lesson" for Skill Challenges precisely for that reason, so that was a bug and it's fixed. 2. I added more "new lessons" daily, seen on your Profile tab (from 2 to 4) to help users progress more quickly through the curriculum. 3. I recently made some improvements to how daily missions are presented to the user which also results in users being able to earn more prisms daily. 4. I release improvements and updates about once a week and as an Easter Egg, when a user updates to a new version they will also receive 2 additional bonus lessons, up to 10. Most users appear to be on automatic updates so this will happen automatically whenever you get a new version! Helped me do it

I’ve used harmoniq for about 3 or 4 months regularly. It seems at first like it’s going too slow but I kept doing it and it got harder. I can look back at stuff that I used to think was really hard and now it’s easy for me. Do I have perfect pitch idk it seems like people want to attach lots of weird rules like it’s not perfect pitch because “ “. I’m definitely happy with this app and can hear different notes now when I play all the time. It has really helped me improve my ear and I can usually sing the right note when I’m trying to. Great app!

Simple and amazing

I can now count myself as one of the people that learned perfect pitch using this app. It’s easy and straight forward. As long as you do it consistently. All you need to do is do the lessons it wants you to do everyday. It wasn’t as black and white as I thought. You don’t just wake up one day and say now I have perfect pitch. You have to work at it every day and you’ll notice your ear changing as you develop it and if you stick with it you’ll be able to identify pitches as effortlessly as if you were born with it.

It worked for me

I did a low effort review when I got the app in September because I liked the idea and I liked playing because it feels like a game to me. Some people told me I can learn it and I kinda wanted t do it alone cuz in case it doesn’t work you know and I tried this one. I could have done more and I missed lots of days and lost my steak a lot. I am doing it more now tho I think right now I have like 47 days or smth. I also paid for the app early so can’t really say what it’s like if you have the free one and I don’t really know the difference. Also i found out the sub is for the family plan not just you and my gf started using it too now. Right now im level 24 and I have 72k XP and I usually do all my stuff on the missions screen and then some practice in one sitting takes me about 15 minutes. I never use the home page. Im in the whole steps section now tho and I get 90+ % on like all the tests and if I try one from a long time ago it’s super easy now. I noticed a master skill challenge thing got added a couple weeks ago and I really like that the most. It doesn’t tell you how you did until after and I can get them basically all right all the time. I dunno if you call that perfect pitch yet because I still make some mistakes but I definitely couldn’t do it if you asked me before. Not even close. So Im convinced now it works and so Im doin it more. The app seems like it’s updated a lot too and that’s pretty smooth too and it seems like if there’s a problem it gets fixed and new stuff that’s useful and fun gets added all the time. Also the recommended lessons suddenly got way better recently. Great job!

Nailed it!

My bandmate I’ve played with for years (and definitely never had perfect pitch) suddenly has it out of nowhere. I was like WTH, seriously? And he tells me it's this app. No way I wasn't going to try it too.

I kinda messed around with some other perfect pitch trainer apps before but honestly… nothing ever worked for me. Maybe I wasn’t giving it my all or I just assumed it wasn’t going to work anyway. Whatever it was, I like that this one tells you what to do and after the first couple weeks I already started noticing a difference. Totally blown away.

Now I’m picking out notes when I listen to music or play and it’s wild. When I check them my accuracy is way better than my confidence still (haha) but that feels like a me problem. I still can’t believe I can do any of it. I’m not all the way there yet, but my friend said it took him a few months and he's still working on getting even better.

If I could give this app 10 stars, I totally would because it actually works. I probably wouldn’t have stuck with it if not for my friend tho... so I wanted to share some stuff and hopefully you improve the app. And seriously, everyone needs this app and THANK YOU!

I really wish I could progress faster as a free user and the first day was the worst. I used all the lessons and bonus lessons on the first day, and I use every single daily lesson the app gives me every day. Even though you can get more lessons with prisms, I don’t think it’s enough on the first day to really show someone the app. I always spend all my prisms on skill challenges anyway, but I couldn’t even earn enough prisms to do a skill challenge on the first day and that really bummed me out bc it was a daily quest and I wanted to finish all the quests. Since that though I usually get enough for one skill challenge every other day, I think. But it still feels like they shouldn’t count as one of your daily lessons since they already cost prisms. Sometimes I also run out of daily lessons and realize I didn't finish the 10 minutes quest...oops

Honestly, I’ll probably end up subscribing to get more lessons and skill challenges because I can tell it’s working. I know I’m not making as many mistakes as I was even a few weeks ago and it would be awesome too to see my progress somewhere in the app. Like, seeing how far I’ve come would be super motivating.

Seriously, though… do you realize how incredibly amazing this is? Everybody knows you can’t learn this... Unreal. Let’s face it, everybody wants perfect pitch… we all just make stuff up because we’re mad and jealous that we can’t have it. But here we are, learning perfect pitch.

Perfect for me

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It’s the only thing I’ve seen that actually tells you what to do. It feels super natural to use and I can tell I’m starting to tell notes apart and improving in my lessons.
