Fun to work with!!!

Absolutely addictive app

This is one of my favorite apps I’ve ever owned. If you take your time, and really play around with it, it can bring out your inner artist. Harris camera images can be very powerful and striking if you put a little effort into your shot composition. I’m talking instant album cover. Or you can just play with it at your leisure. Either way, this app is a must for any photographer, pro or amateur.

Love this app for creative live separations!!!

I LUV the app ...BUT

I’ve been using this app for over 5years and like the new features but, I miss the older versions ability to save more variations of the scenes before the app reloads got a new shot.

FAQ

What is the Harris Shutter Effect?

The Harris Shutter Effect, also known as the Tri-filter Effect, is a classic analog photo technique achieved by taking multiple exposures through different colored filters. This app recreates that effect by allowing you to take three separate photos with distinct color filters and then overlap them into a single image.

How do I use HarrisCamera to create a photo?

To create a photo, you will take three pictures sequentially, each with a different color filter applied. For best results, it is recommended to keep the camera as still as possible, ideally using a tripod or placing your iPhone on a stable surface. The app then combines these three exposures into one final image.

What kind of editing tools are available?

The app provides a range of adjustment tools for basic photo correction. These include controls for exposure, brightness, contrast, vividness, color temperature, highlights, shadows, vignetting, and sharpness. Additionally, there are 16 preset photo filters available to further enhance your images.

Can I load existing photos into the app?

Yes, you can load images directly from your device's Photo Library into the app. This allows you to apply the Harris Shutter Effect and editing tools to photos you have already taken, not just new ones captured through the app.

Is this app compatible with my device?

This application is designed for iPhone. Specific features like ultra-wide-angle and telephoto camera shooting are dependent on your device's hardware capabilities. The app has also been optimized for newer iPhone models, ensuring a smooth experience.
