Hart Square

Hart Square Foundation preserves the nation's largest collection of historic log cabins known as Hart Square Village. Here, we preserve cultural heritage through living traditions, both past and present, celebrating the rich diversity of crafts, trades, and practices of our region in North Carolina. We host community events such as square dances, musical performances, films, heritage festivals, and historic dinners throughout the year as well as folkways classes. Members can visit the village Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm. Children 18 and under are free with a member.
