Value for the money
Our membership has provided great value for the money. We’ve used the service regularly, especially for wineries and breweries. It’s provided access to places we would never have known about otherwise. The people we’ve met have been delightful and we drank some very good beer and wine.
Unsubscription extremely complicated
After two years as a member of this Harvest Host, we wanted to take a break of traveling for a year. The administrators made the unsubscription process so complicated that I had to ask the AI how to do it. And to be honest, I much prefer other apps that do the job better.

Sometimes hard to decide which drive to turn into. Sign or flag needs to be prominently displayed. PLEASE.
Love Harvest Host!
We have really enjoyed staying at Harvest Host locations. We have met so many great people (hosts) that have shared their places and their stories with us. Most of them are in quiet locations and the hosts are selling wine or special things they have made, like honey, fruit they have grown on site and fresh sourdough bread they have made. It’s always a great experience, you come away with such a special gift with these experiences in the people you meet and the places you have stayed.

Not useable
We have a Ford F150 with a small toy hauler. We are having trouble finding a place that will take a total length of over 25 ft. This needs to be said up front before we purchase a membership.
This is also not useable for traveling cross country and making reservations as you go. We are having trouble finding places that accept same day reservations, and there is no way to contact a host: no email, phone number, or chatting capability is offered in this app.
This membership was a waste of our money.

Great Experience
Such a great camping experience! Quiet, scenic, and surrounded by vineyards. The hosts were welcoming and easy to communicate with. The location is just a short drive from tons of wineries, making it the perfect home base for exploring the area. I will definitely be back! 🍷🏕️🌿
Amazing hosts
Our stay at Green Pond was truly unforgettable, and so much of that was because of the incredible hospitality of Steve and Fern.
From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us like family, personally meeting us and helping us get settled into a full hookup site right next to them. Their kindness immediately made us feel at home.
The property itself is absolutely immaculate. The park is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by breathtaking views that made our stay even more special. You can tell that great care and pride go into every aspect of this place.
What touched our hearts most was the genuine compassion and thoughtfulness Steve and Fern showed our family. Our daughter, Brittany, who has autism, was gifted a stuffed animal by Fern. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant the world to us. It was such a thoughtful and caring act, and one that Brittany absolutely cherished. It’s rare to meet people who are so naturally kind and considerate.
Steve and Fern were wonderful to talk with, and spending time with them was one of the highlights of our trip. Their warmth, generosity, and sincere care for their guests created an experience that went far beyond simply having a place to stay.
We left feeling grateful, touched, and already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Steve and Fern, for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Never going back to KOA
We spent years doing hwy KOAs and stopping for overnights with hwy noise, crowded rundown facilities. We have me some of the best people at HH locations and seen more fabulous cities. It gets you away from freeways and meeting real Americans who are sharing their homes, small businesses and properties. Absolutely would not go back to KOAs

Great app to find a place to park and enjoy a unique experience
First trip with Harvest Host
No complaints everything went well
Great program but app needs work
App can get quite buggy. Sender and recipient names get mixed up in messaging. Autocorrect doesn't work, and completely resets each time it's minimized. Hope these can get fixed.
New to Harvest Hosts
We are new to staying at HH locations but so far this has been awesome!! Easy to navigate to the locations of choice, great communication from hosts and extremely relaxing and beautiful scenery.
