Good start!
This is my first time playing Harvest Moon: Skytree Village, and so far I’m really enjoying it. The graphics are adorable, and the characters are charming and likable.
One downside I’ve noticed is the number of typos in the dialogue. For example, when Dean teaches you how to fertilize flowers, he says “knwo” instead of “know.”
The tutorial could also use some proofreading and updating. Since I’m playing on my phone, it should display touchscreen controls instead of controller inputs. For example, when you first speak to the Harvest Sprite during the tilling tutorial, it correctly explains which buttons to tap on the screen. However, if you talk to the Sprite again for a refresher, it switches to controller instructions and tells you to press the A and B buttons instead, which is confusing for mobile players.

Janky and unfinished
It’s honestly appalling how bad this game is. The controls, UI, and graphics all make this seem like a low-effort asset-flip or shovelware game. Ay $7.99 for this mobile game, Natsume should really be embarrassed with this delivery. As a longtime enjoyer of the Harvest Moon games on console, I feel this is an affront to their legacy, and a blatant cash grab. 0/10
