About
Look at the number on an island. That is how many bridges it needs. Place them when you know, not when you are guessing.
Hashi: Number Bridges is a logic puzzle. Bridges run straight across or straight down. Two islands can share one bridge or two, never three. A bridge cannot cross another bridge, and it cannot jump over an island that sits between them. When the numbers are right, every island still has to belong to one connected whole. A board can have every number satisfied and still be split in two. That is not finished.
Includes a 162-level journey and 2,000 practice puzzles.
The rules take a few minutes. The tutorial asks you to place the bridges yourself. After that, play one new puzzle each day, or follow the journey from short links to longer deductions.
How a move works
Tap one island, then another. A bridge appears between them. Tap again to make it a double bridge. A third tap removes it. You can undo a mistake, and put that step back. When an island’s number fades, it already has the bridges it needs, so you can look at the islands that still do not. Leave in the middle, and the puzzle stays on this device.
One puzzle a day, or a practice set
Each day has a new puzzle stored on the device. Nothing extra has to download. It works offline. If you want another difficulty, there is Easy, Medium, and Hard practice.
Along the journey
A few short puzzles come first, so the rules can settle. Later boards grow, the islands get denser, and the deductions run longer. The next puzzle stays closed until you finish the one before it. The opening levels are free to try. More journey levels and Expert practice are available through a one-time purchase. It does not renew.
When you are stuck
Each puzzle includes three hints. A hint places one bridge that has to be there and marks that island. You can also replay the solution one step at a time. How many puzzles you have finished, and how long they took, stay on this device.
A quiet puzzle
No account. No ads. Sound and haptics can be turned off. The look can follow the system, or stay light or dark. It runs on iPhone and iPad.
