External Library is slow
The external library using SMB is quite slow at loading videos compared to the native files app
Perfect
This is the only photo album worth it. Idk what Apple is doing and why they continue to do everything we hate, but at least someone listens. If this app ever goes away I’m going with it.
Fantastic and what the default app should have been
Really good app. I can finally sort by video size or duration and see more info upfront at once. A few more built in features would be amazing like Date time stamper and ability to upload to Google Photos or Amazon photos or personal photo nas etc.
It is pricey at $19 for lifetime but well worth it imo. Ideal pricing would have been $4.99 tops but it’s not too expensive given I purchase like one app every two years.

Great App, Needs Video Crop
I love HashPhotos and use it to organize my photo and video library with keywords.
However, one important feature is missing: video cropping. I can trim videos, but I can’t crop the frame like I can with photos.
Since I organize my videos with HashPhotos keywords, it’s difficult to switch to the Apple Photos app just to crop a video, because those keywords aren’t available there.
Please add a video crop feature to HashPhotos. It would make the app even more powerful and eliminate the need to switch to another app for such a basic editing task.

My favorite app purchase I have ever made
I love this app so much! it has been such a quality of life improvement after I discovered it. It makes me so happy to see this is a continuous work in progress; constantly improving as time goes on.
I'd like to request a new gesture for slideshow; If you tap on the top right corner, you would give a little haptic tick and increase speed by 10% from what it's currently playing at, each time you tap. Tapping bottom right corner would slow down by 10% percent each time. And it wouldn't even need to remember what speed you last had it set at when you exit out of playing; it would just start playing at normal speed by default.
Also, i think it would be super handy if you could launch slideshow for what you currently have in the tray (playing in the order that you have them queued up). It wouldn't even need to show the prompt for slideshow with the options either. It would just start playing; like a continuous source tape.
And something else that i think would be simple to implement, but would be extremely helpful; When exporting, as each item is exported, add an 'exported' tag to it. This would make it extremely easy to find things that are safe to remove when you're running low on space. Plus down the road, you could even leverage that tags existence, and make it so if some of the items they're trying to export already have the tag, it could ask if they want to do a differential export (skipping the items that have tag), or a full export.

Dear hash photos can you please add a ton of more options because iOS 27 added more stuff to the photos application and I would like hash photos to copy every features that are on the apple photos app and add them to the hash photos application

can you please add more customizable options and add more options I would love more options to be added that is for example
1 add options to customize Liquid Glass effect for example by changing it to frosty or clear and color tint options
2 an option to make the icons thicker and thinner
3 add an option for show tabs at the bottom of the screen just like the apple photos app

Random Video Segments in Slideshow pls?
Okay, love the new video duration options for slideshows, but perhaps the random range could be from the beginning of a video to the chosen duration of seconds before the end of the video?

By far, the most robust, stable, feature-rich, intuitive photo library app on the market.
Great app with one frustrating limitation
HashPhotos is exactly what I needed for organizing photos with keywords, notes, and smart albums. Keyword sync from Apple Photos works perfectly, and the notes feature is a hidden gem.
One issue: smart albums don’t include hidden photos. Keyword search finds hidden photos fine, but smart albums don’t. This makes it impossible to pre-create browsable categories for hidden content. Would love to see this addressed — even a simple “Include Hidden Photos” toggle in smart album settings would solve it completely.

I have 700 apps, but only this one gets a spot on my iPad task bar
This is one of the best pieces of software I’ve used in my 35 year career. Absolutely outstanding functionality, well designed, easy to use, and very well refined! The best part is the developer strives for perfection and continues to refine it. This is the Photos app, supercharged. You’d be mistaken not to download this! The developer also is fantastic at responding to bug reports and feature requests, they’ve implemented probably a dozen bugs/fixed/features for me at this point (although I have been a customer for over 10 years at this point haha.)

Random Video Segments in Slideshow pls?
I love this app but I’d love it more if the slideshow would play random segments of videos when the slide duration is set lower than the length of the videos. +1 star if you pull it off. =)

If you’re not willing to pay, then this app is just useless since it just becomes a modified version of the normal photo app

Of every app on my devices, no one gets more frequent updates out than this team. And not just tiny updates, each one is typically packed with meaningful fixes, enhancements and new features. Amazing stuff.
Please add search by TIFF and a merge duplicates feature like the native ios photos has.
Id love a search where u can search by text within the TIFF. Also a merge dupe is really needed, im in a problem where my dupes have different keywords, different favorite state and i need to merge those all
