Same problems as everyone else
I’m having the same problems as everyone else. Lack of functionality. Every last message is marked unread in the app even though it’s read on desktop. Very annoying you can’t mark ALL as read.
Lacking!
The Hatch app has a clean, easy-to-read UI and is very fast and responsive, which is a plus. However, it’s seriously lacking in functionality. The only thing you can do is see and respond to messages—there’s no real way to manage or organize them.
Messages read on the website still show as unread in the app, meaning I would have had to manually mark thousands of messages as read when I first downloaded it. Also, while messages show a date, there’s no time stamp, which makes it difficult to tell if a message came in during or after business hours. If I miss a push notification and later check the app, I have no way of knowing if the message just came in after hours (making it appropriate to respond) or if it arrived earlier in the day and I just didn’t see it until now (in which case, I’d want to wait until business hours to reply).
There’s no way to mark messages as read easily, move them to different stages, or get a broader view of conversations. If these features exist, they aren’t intuitive. Right now, the app feels incomplete, but its speed and clean design are a step in the right direction. Hoping for future updates with more functionality!

Update needed
This app has SO much potential to capture leads while in the go, but it lacks the connection between the website and the app itself. My notifications currently say 31 on the App while my Desktop Notifications are cleared. Adding the columns similar to the web would be very beneficial as well.
Terrible Service
DON’T SIGN UP FOR THIS APP OR SERVICE. If you want a platform to communicate with customers use CHIIRP instead of this app. Terrible service, never connected to crm (Jobber) as promised, manually updated data which was inaccurate often, and sent many messages in error and caused more trouble than help with clients.

Not ready
Very buggy with limited functionality. Tried reloading, no improvement. Help page is nonfunctional as well.
Time to Invest in your App
The thought is there, but the delivery is very minimal. This needs to be a much more functional app for owners/managers. I don’t work by my laptop all hours of the day. This mobile app needs to make the functions of Hatch as easy to use as it is for the website.
Can’t message anyone from the app.
The app will work for maybe 15 minutes but once I close it and re-open I’m greeted by a forbidden message and no reasoning as to why.
Overpriced - tech not there yet
The idea here is pretty decent, however their sales team oversold the app by 10000%, it really can’t do that much, so when I finally realized this and went to cancel they wouldn’t let me, I’ve had to dispute credit card transaction after credit card transaction, no response via email. Terrible customer support. Don’t sign up
