We found this app through a kids camp, Reef Guardians, the staff that runs the camp started this app. We've been absolutely loving looking though this and using it alongside my kiddo attending the camp, we've learned so much about the local sea life. Highly recommend!

Great App!!
This is just what is needed to identify the fish, birds,mammals,invertebrates and corals. It is well organized and fun to use. Every school classroom should have them in Hawaii. I LOVE this app!!!

Hawaii Sealife tells you all about fish, mammals, birds, reptiles, and more creatures found in and around the water. Just while scrolling through the app, I identified several new fish I saw while snorkeling today and learned cool facts about marine animals. Donβt immediately see your fish? No worries! Simply use the clue filters to generate a description of your fish and then watch as the app provides a list of possible fish matches. Along with ID features, this app provides you with facts, habitat, scientific names, and Hawaiian names. Also, with this app, you can make a personalized checklist where you can check off marine animals you see during your adventures at the beach (Iβm halfway through my checklist). Great for the identifying animals
I was at the beach with my two sons who told me about this app. We didnβt know what a certain fish was. We booted up the app and we scanned the fish we caught. It worked perfectly and it even gave us some background knowledge on it. Perfect for kids learning about beach life and it encourages them to read and catch the fish.
