What's New in Hayat Al

2.4

August 12, 2026

Version 2.4 — prayer times that match your local mosque, and a Qur'an that reads the way you like. NEW • Choose your Arabic font — Amiri Quran (the original), Scheherazade New, or Noto Naskh Arabic. Settings → Arabic font, with a live preview of each. Your choice applies everywhere Arabic appears: the Qur'an reader, adhkar, duas, tasbih and shared ayah cards • Turkey (Diyanet) calculation method — matches the official Diyanet timetable, including its per-prayer adjustments to sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr and Maghrib • If your country publishes its own official prayer times, the app now offers to switch to that method. A card appears once on the home screen — tap to switch, or dismiss it and nothing changes. Currently covers Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Singapore Your Asr madhab is never changed — only the calculation method. If your Asr time looks about an hour off, check Settings → Asr madhab: Diyanet and most national timetables publish Asr at the shorter shadow length (Shafi'i), even in Hanafi-majority countries. Still no ads, no trackers, no data sold.
