Version 1.3 is a major field-usability update built for first responders, firefighters, HazMat technicians, law enforcement, and safety officers operating in real-world emergency environments. LONG-RANGE CAMERA ZOOM (1x TO 10x) FOR SAFE PERIMETER SCANNING • Multi-Camera Telephoto Switching: Automatically leverages your iPhone’s Triple Camera, Dual Camera, or Wide system to deliver the sharpest possible optical clarity when reading distant placards on highway tankers, railcars, or storage containers. • Always-Visible Precision Zoom Slider: Smoothly dial in any exact magnification between 1.0x and 10.0x without taking your eyes off the target. • Tactile +/- Step Controls & Quick Presets: Tap the dedicated (-) and (+) buttons for 0.5x gloved-hand adjustments, use instant 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x optical presets, or pinch anywhere on the live viewfinder. • Enhanced Distant OCR & Diamond Detection: Improved Vision AI text recognition and contour analysis when zoomed in on weathered, angled, or partially obstructed 4-digit UN/NA panels. HIGH-CONTRAST LIGHT MODE, DARK MODE & AUTO SYSTEM THEME • Daylight-Optimized Light Theme: Engineered specifically for bright midday sun and outdoor highway incidents, featuring high-contrast cards, crisp typography, and custom technical backgrounds for effortless readability without screen glare. • Night-Ops Dark Theme: Preserves low-glare visibility for nighttime responses and cab environments. • Instant Appearance Switcher: Automatically follows your iPhone or iPad system appearance by default, or manually lock the app into Light, Dark, or Auto mode at any time via the Info (!) button in the top header. • Unified Across Every Screen: Full theme adaptation across the Chemical ID database, DOT Placards & Tank Silhouettes, ERG Emergency Guides, full-text ERG 2024 PDF Reader, and onboarding views.
