About

HazNode Field is the on-site companion to HazNode, the platform occupational hygiene and safety consultants use to run their work end to end. It does three things properly: recording what you see the moment you see it, working through inspections where they happen, and reporting incidents from the spot — so the record is written on the floor, not from memory at the end of the day. ON SITE Home names the site you are standing at and keeps this month's numbers for it in front of you. Sign in and out at your own sites from the gate, or let a site's automatic sign-in do it as you cross its fence. ASSETS Scan the QR sticker on a machine and its page opens: safe to use or tagged out, what is due, and who is signed off to operate it. Run a pre-start check, report a fault with photos, or put it back in service. Record a service, a WOF or a maintenance check with the date, the provider, the meter reading and photos. OBSERVATIONS Capture a hazard, a near miss or a good catch with photos and a category, at the place it happened. INSPECTIONS Work through your organisation's published templates, section by section, and pick a run back up where you left it. INCIDENTS Report near misses, injuries, property damage and environmental events, with photos, and follow your organisation's register as each one progresses. OFFLINE BY DEFAULT Sites, templates and in-progress runs are kept on the phone while there is signal, and everything you capture is held and sent when it comes back. A plant room or a valley is where this work happens, so it is where the app is built to work. WHOSE RECORDS YOU ARE IN Every screen states who is signed in and whose records are open, and switching between the organisations you work for takes two taps. HazNode Field needs a HazNode account. Accounts are created by an organisation's administrator — there is no self-service sign-up.

Assets. Scan the QR sticker on a machine to open it: see at a glance whether it is safe to use, run its pre-start check, report a fault, or put it back in service. Record a service, a WOF or a maintenance check with the date, who did it, the meter reading and photos — on the spot, and offline if you are out of range. The asset page also names the operators signed off to use it. Site sign-in. Sign in and out at your own sites from the app when you are at the gate, with no card to scan and no poster to find. Sites with automatic sign-in turned on still sign you in and out as you cross the fence. A new tab bar. Home and More stay put, the scan button sits in the middle where your thumb is, and the two tabs either side are yours to choose — More → Navigation lets you drag the modules you use onto them. As always, everything you capture works without signal and syncs when it comes back.
