WiFi works until it doesn’t

This camera and app use WiFi instead of Bluetooth. When connected to WiFi the camera works well. After a very short time my phone says it’s not connected to the internet and asks to use cellular data. At this point it’s still connected to the camera WiFi but will not produce an image in the app.

Took forever to load up and transferring photos was a nightmare. The quality of the photos are equal to that of a potato.
