Worthless

Just downloaded this app and it does not work at all. Stay away from this app.

No updated version

For years this was my go-to HDR app. Unfortunately the developer hasn’t kept up with Apple updates and now the app doesn’t work like it used to. Photos are blotchy and unusable. Would happily use again if the app worked properly on iOS 26.

Used to work remarkably well, but no longer

Allows you to set points for highlight and shadows so produces a well exposed picture that doesn't look artificial like many other HDR apps.
Shadow exposure is captured much better than using the iOS camera app.

Update 2025: after many good years this app no longer works on iOS 18.7.1

Poor quality app, don't buy

Horrible

This app is ridiculous. I want my money back. It makes no sense. Offers no instructions or tools. It’s a complete waste of time and money. All I wanted was to import a photo and make
Adjustments. This app pretends it does.. and then nothing.

FAQ

What is HDR photography?

HDR (High-Dynamic-Range) photography captures more detail in both the brightest and darkest areas of an image than a standard photograph. This app achieves this by combining multiple exposures of the same scene, resulting in a more balanced and visually rich image.

How does this app create HDR photos?

The app captures twice the image data of a standard photo by merging an over-exposed and under-exposed image. It offers four different mixing options (Auto, Optimized, Vivid, Contrast) to achieve various visual styles. It also supports importing raw images and photos from your library.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, the application is available for free. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements mentioned, suggesting a completely free experience for users.

Can I import my own photos to create HDR?

Yes, the app allows you to import light and dark photos directly from your device's photo library. This feature enables you to create HDR images from existing shots, offering flexibility in your workflow.

What are the benefits of using this HDR app?

This app offers fast capture and merging of HDR results, automatic alignment for sharper images, and support for native device camera resolutions. It provides both automatic and manual modes for exposure control, catering to both beginners and advanced users.
