The new mode is stupid and lame what is even about this game is running out of ideas I have it dies to the ground one day
Formerly a great game
First played this game years ago and have come back to it a couple times over the years. The current state of this game is a bloated mess of disappointment. Power creep has turned what used to be a fun physics based soccer game into who has the better power shot. The introduction of near unblockable shots, insane stat increases, and overpowered hats has ruined the original experience. Not only is unlocking the newer characters extremely difficult but with so many of them that get automatic goals in the game now it’s hard to even unlock the og cast. The challenge system to unlock characters used to be a fun incentive to play but it seems to have been made intentionally harder so they can push the micro transactions. For example, there are a few challenges where you must allow very few or no goals to the opponent. This used to be feasible but now even though any match is winnable it’s practically impossible to shut out certain characters. A version of this game without every character after Poland would make this a 5 star game.

awaken gamemode
genuinely unplayable gamemode when i land on the same exact tile that takes 40k gold every single time im on the same side as the board as it, not to mention the slap and fence mini games take 2 spaces yet i play it 4 times in a row on a giant board
Best game ever/worst
This is probably the best game ever I grew up playing the game when it was good. Now I hate the awaken mode with a passion nothing but utter frustration and anger consumes me when I play that mode. It’s such a worthless and Time consuming mode. The fencing and slap box as well, with the ai bots having the experience of 1 million years of fencing and slap boxing it makes it incredibly unfair. They counter every little thing you throw at them. They have reactions times of a god and you sit there and wonder why this mode even exists in the first place. Also I hate that it’s hard to get gold

What I think
This game is perfect with its variety but j feel that some characters like the Godzilla girl are very hard to get aimless your a pro or have good people all that I ask is that in the future you change some ways to get characters

Bad powerhouse and mechanics
The power up for the starting character is literally so useless. You have a better chance of scoring on yourself than scoring on the other player with it. It is literally so incredibly useless. Please fix in the mechanics are so mid
Awakening
Your game is great but you need to fix the awakening mode, you CAN’T win the mini games

The updates ruined this game. I used to love it as a kid. If any developer is reading this, you destroyed a piece of my childhood.
Rigged
The some of the new characters you can’t stop there power and you can’t even think of winning the new awaken monopoly game the ai in it gets one bad thing and then 50 good things and I mite get 1 good thing and the part they actually have copyright to they only have the characters that you can’t stop and slap battles and jousting are rigged.

Ruined why was a great game by making it way more difficult to unlock anything, almost to the point that you have to spend money or just keep losing.

Edit: I made this review like 10 years ago and I can say this is a good legacy game maybe one of the best mobile games with that gameplay but you need all the max upgrades first which will take a long time and grinding. I want to go with skill not grind. Still addictive game. Came here when they release head basketball man. They got all types of power ups and you gotta defend them and all these countries. Variety in whatever. Love the comparison between the og animations to the hardcore animations. Hell yeah like the graphic visual craziness. Maybe the newest characters are too much and can’t be countered and you gotta use your power ups to stop them by getting the good characters. Maybe it’s rooting for fight mode. It is what it is. I love death, survival, fight mode. They got the unique mechanics in there. Well crafted. Awaken looks like monopoly and probably AI made. I rather have the stones than the ai made faces. When they bring thanos too? Bro I don’t want to play no monopoly that game is so long ah but I can still say it’s not bad. The awaken characters are good and are just op. Korea is probably the balanced one. My awaken idea would be similar to death like a Test Your Might with a meter thing to count the player wins and loses. multiple stages and random things going on. Or make campaign mode again. Similar mechanics going on with awaken with the monopoly. Idk those ideas ain’t for me to brainstorm. I mean the developers already lost their creativity already. Glad they are still keep going with the game and still reading and accepting reviews. Hard work. Dedication. Blood Sweat and Tears. I suggested a nurse and a cop and both was added in different head games. One head boxing and one head soccer. Way long back. Maybe if they can add like an extended ground and breaking some rules in the world cup like add multiple country characters to make some chaos. Well farewell see you again in 10 years and also love the millions of allusions street fight mortal kombat in that game. This is what Roblox can’t beat. If you want to see my character suggestion, you could look at my head basketball review. I mean head soccer already done. You guys are stretching your ideas. Maybe for america you can put like Billy Butcher or Homelander. Japan would be like Naruto stuff or Ultra instinct goku since that is the worst character of all times. Like I said nothing to put here, I would rather focus on head basketball. Still nothing wrong with being cultured.

Been playing since I was 9, now I’m out of college. Great game, love it very much as I have found it recently again after a long time forgetting about this.
Game is ruined :(
This game used to be my childhood. So sad how the developers absolutely ruined it. It’s so pay to win, and it’s impossible to do anything past a certain point without dumping hundreds of dollars into the devs pockets. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Power Creep
Years back this game used to be unreal. Great progression system with cool characters that, whilst good, didn’t seem unfair. Now trying to play the game and progress through the game is hell. The best characters are practically unbeatable from the start, so facing them in a tournament with the basic, less advanced characters will be almost impossible. It’s clear that the developers have fallen victim to power creep, which has honestly ruined the game. It’s a real shame as before, this game was incredibly addictive, but now, thanks to the developer’s negligence, it no longer feels worth playing.

Ruined it
I grew up playing this game. It was a huge part of my childhood and easily my favourite game of all time. Sadly, the new Awakening mode has completely ruined the experience for me. I never thought I’d say that about a game I loved so much, but I’m genuinely so disappointed.
