Fantastic Game

This is up there with the best ATC games that I’ve played. Would love the ability to vector aircraft to waypoints (useful for consistent approaches) or even the ability to set standard approaches etc. but maybe that would make it too easy.

I really enjoy the fact that the scenarios have a set number of aircraft, so it is possible to play a certain scenario and finish after a set time, rather than many of the ATC genre that have arrivals continually ramping up until a separation incident is inevitable.

Great game! Thanks 🙏

Action required

Nice to play. Please provide more airports. And: Do not send a/c in at the same level while another flies through the exit point. No one can handle this even in real life.

Response from developer

Hi Gideon69, Thank you for reporting! That is indeed not supposed to happen at all, it’s a side-effect of allowing some types of departures more exit levels because of smaller airspace size for people with smaller devices. I’ve already tackled some of those. Do you recall by any chance which scenario and exit/entrypoint it was? Feel free to send to headingsatc@icloud.com and I’ll take a look. Planning on reworking to add separate entry/exit points as well to eliminate this of happening all together. Greets, N.

ILS not working

‘Cleared Direct’ function has stopped changing the direction of the aircraft to the start of the runway approach.

Response from developer

Hi JK (SC), Thanks for pointing out a possible bug. Could you email me at headingsatc@icloud.com please with more detail so I can take a look at it? In my testing the ILS still works. If the angle between aircraft current heading and ILS is too large it will not intercept. Too high speed can also have an impact. Is it any specific scenario only for example? Which kind of device and iOS version are you using? Thank you! Regards, Nick

Is it for real?

. I’ve tried many other programs for aircraft control, but this is absolutely the best it gives you everything you could want in a control atmosphere. It’s almost like you’re sitting in an ATC office controlling aircraft into an airport. It starts off with training and then you progress very realistic and extremely addictive. I’ve sat here until like 3 o’clock in the morning playing with this and I’ve been doing it now for a few weeks and it is wonderful. Can’t wait for the next revision so if you’re looking for a good realistic, ATC program look no further this one is definitely it.

Response from developer

Hi Zoster can, Thank you very much that addictive feeling is exactly what I was going for, it gets like that irl as well so I wanted to convey that as best as possible :) Working on the next versions, plan to get back on a faster update pace soon. Enjoy! Greets, Nick

Brilliant ✈️

40 years ATPL of which 33 flying heavies out of LHR and LGW I’ve always admired the London ATC controllers. It’s not an easy job is it! Thank you to all of them and the other ATCOs around the world, but perhaps not the Australian ones 😂

Response from developer

Hello capt squirrel, Your review is very much appreciated thanks! Also I’m really curious now about the Australian colleague stories 😄 Greetings, Nick
