About

Health Habit Hub is the companion app for a research study conducted at TU Dresden (Research Group Digital Health). The study explores how everyday health habits form, change, and spread. As a participant you contribute your own habits and follow how your routines develop over the course of the study. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Donate a habit — describe a health-related routine in your own words, in your own language • Explore — browse habits contributed by other participants • Track your progress — see how your routines develop over the study period • Answer questionnaires — short, scheduled check-ins about your habits and wellbeing • Get reminders — optional notifications when a check-in is due PRIVACY BY DESIGN • No email address, phone number or real name is required to take part • Your account is secured by a recovery phrase that is generated on your device • You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the app • If you delete your account, your login is removed and your contributed study data is retained only in anonymised form LANGUAGES Available in English, German, French, Japanese and Dutch. IMPORTANT This app is a research instrument. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for consulting a qualified health professional. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time.

What's New in Health Habit Hub

1.1.2

Flexible habit tracking — Set a habit to happen a set number of times per week instead of every day, so your plan matches how the habit actually fits into your life. More context when you need it — The Share screen now explains why sharing a habit matters and how it contributes to the study, with a link to the full project details right there when you need them. Describe habits in your own words — For studies that support it, you can now type or speak your habit naturally instead of picking from a fixed list. Also in this update: - Reminders and check-in notifications are more reliable — tapping one now takes you straight to the right screen instead of just opening the app. - Marking a habit complete for the day now correctly cancels that day's reminder, so you won't be reminded about something you've already done. - Fixed a layout issue that could make a button unreachable on smaller screens during habit setup. - Smoothed out a visual glitch on the Share screen.
