Version 2.0 Label printing, end to end • Labels now carry a real GS1/UDI barcode — GTIN, expiration, lot, and serial encoded with Application Identifiers, so any UDI scanner can read them, including this app's own • Design your label at printer setup: pick the loaded stock, customize the layout, and save it against that printer so it is there every time you print • Read media straight from the printer — poll the device for its loaded width, length, and dpi instead of guessing • New panelled 2" x 2" layout for die-cut stock, with no element crossing a cut • Tap to pair — reading a printer's NFC mark fills in its serial, model, and address • Printers are portable: a printer saved on one device is recognized on another • Print over Bluetooth or over the network, with clearer reporting when a printer cannot be reached Inventory by lot and location • A dedicated by-lot view with a per-location strip shows exactly where each lot is stocked across your shelves • Removing a location that still holds stock now asks what to do with it: discard the quantity, or move it to Unassigned • Parked (unassigned) stock is always visible as its own row and counted in the total Reliability & sync • The scanner no longer gets stuck on "Preparing scanner…" — a camera start that timed out could collide with its own retry and leave the screen waiting indefinitely • Stock events replay the full ledger on a cold start or fresh install, so counts and history are correct on a new device • Zero-quantity items are reliably removed from inventory, and a sync is scheduled after each scan so events reach the cloud promptly • Failed archive and dispose actions now surface to you instead of failing silently • Recovers from transient sign-in drops at startup instead of showing an empty inventory • Faster manual sync, and smoother scanning in rooms with many nearby devices Scanning & data • Expiration dates captured from GS1 labels (YYMMDD) now parse without errors • Disposed and archived lots open gracefully instead of showing "Supply not found" • Item history shows disposals as "Disposed" with the trade name, and presents event reasons in plain language • Consumption, waste, and stockout analytics are computed from the live stock-event ledger Security & stability • Hardened tenancy and access checks, plus a sweep of security fixes • Clearer, rarer crash reports, with database-safety guards
