Needs Optimising

The magazine has great content and makes it so easy to cook and eat better. The articles help make better decisions in the supermarket. The app falls down with functionality. It looks like no one had updated it since 2009. It would benefit from things like automatically created shopping lists from recipes, search function for ingredients from the recipe catalogue.
It's a very simple app.

Slow to update

New versions of the mag come out quicker using the Zinio app! The latest version has been out for about a week on zinio.... still waiting for it to appear on here... will not be renewing my subscription

Basic reading platform

So far the app seems stable and simple to use but somewhat lacking in functionality. To read a magazine you find a thumbnail image and pay (AU$4.50 or so)and hope it lives up to the thumbnail. No preview, no summary, nothing about HFG (which is a great publication!). It is a saving on the $6.50 or so for the magazine at the supermarket.

NOT FIXED

Since upgrading to ios8 I've been unable to download any magazines - even back issues that I previously had access to. Have deleted and reinstalled many times. Frankly I feel ripped off and am wishing I'd gone with the Zinio version instead. At least Zinio provides clear contact details in case something goes wrong.

Very dodgy app!

Having a lot of trouble downloading magazines despite deleting and then reinstalling the app many times! Don't know how to get my money back for the remaining 3 months of the subscription!
