Misleading trial - Scam

Don’t subscribe as it will take your money immediately without allowing you the 3 day trial first as advertised. False & misleading advertising- Apple refused to reverse - money grabbing app ! I paid $9.99 for 3 days - talk about scamming people!

Crashes when adding blood pressure

Totally wrong measurements!

This can be even dangerous, people measuring heart beat with this junk app getting wrong information

..

Every few seconds a popup begging you to buy the pro version

Bad privacy policy.

Lots of data tracking, not good.

Literally a PRIVACY nightmare 🤮😖🤮😖🤮

So how goes the data mining Richard? Truly anyone that trust this company with so much personal data which is without a doubt the definition of “privacy overreach” should read not only their tos but also their privacy policy both of which are very flimsy and outdated but even worse they’re just dishonest and unethical 💯🤥

ps: safe guard your privacy from grifters like this FREE is truly never free especially when you’re the product being sold without knowing

this HR Monitor didn’t

Tell u the app needs internet to work, which is not a good sign makes your pulse go up.

Didn’t work

Doesn’t seem to do anything. Using latest iPhone and iOS.

Inaccurate

App doesn’t give accurate rating , also “Free for life” on subscription doesn’t work either … it offers that , and before you submit it tells you that your subscription rather than “Free” would only be $99.98 instead of $299.00 … what do they mean by “Free”… found this app on “Apps gone Free”

Is this a scam?

So I downloaded this app today since it’s listed on app advice as a free lifetime subscription. Unfortunately, when I open the app, there is no lifetime subscription offered at all let alone a free one. The only subscriptions offered both cost money and you cannot proceed past that point until you actually allow the app to charge you. It’s a shame, because the app looks interesting.

Ads ads not free anymore

This app was great at first. No ads and free. All of a sudden it asks for money and you can’t take your pulse because of ads. I’m done.

C’est en anglais

C’est en anglais et je ne comprends pas l’anglais . Traduction en français je serais bien heureux.

Was great, now rubbish

I’ve used this app for a couple of years, checking my pulse after exercise. Like the other reviews, I’m not sure about its accuracy, as readings were higher than an app I used previously. But it felt like readings were consistent and it was useful to look at my history. Now the history has been locked out of the free version, which makes it pointless. The cost of this app is ridiculous. So I’m deleting.

Hi there, thank you for being a long-time user and for sharing your feedback — we really appreciate it 💓 We understand your frustration about the history feature. Our goal has always been to keep Heart Rate Monitor useful and simple, and we still offer free heart rate measurements without requiring a subscription. While we’ve added premium features like trends, history tracking, and advanced insights to support ongoing development, we know how valuable history can be. Your feedback helps us explore ways to improve the free experience too. We’re sorry to see you go, but thank you again for your support — and if you ever decide to come back, we’d love to have you! — The Heart Rate Monitor Team

TMi requested

The new version of the app wants to offer me life advice, but starts by asking a number of questions. All I want is something that will take my pulse.

Response from developer

Hi there, thanks for your feedback — we totally understand! Heart Rate Monitor still lets you check your pulse for free, just like before. The few questions at the beginning are optional and only help us provide personalized insights if you're interested in wellness advice. But if you just want to measure your heart rate, you can skip the extra features and go straight to the scanner anytime. We really appreciate you using the app and hope it continues to be helpful in the way that works best for you 💓 — The Heart Rate Monitor Team

A simple thanks

Free ,No fuss, exactly what I needed.
We’ll see if my livelihood
goes as smooth 😉 thanks for the app

Does not work.

I have tried this many times. It instructs me to press start and cover the camera lens on my phone. But pressing start does nothing. Even pressing start and covering the camera lens as instructed. Nothing happens.

Not accurate

I understand this won’t be as accurate as the real thing like at a doctors office or at a hospital. But when it’s reading 80 bpm and my heart rate is 115 bpm that’s way off. I understand an online phone app is not going to be accurate at all. But I wasn’t expecting such a huge difference in the numbers.

Not bad

Within 10 beats per minute 90 percent of the time which is pretty good for an app. Tried other apps with wiid swings. Doesn’t read well when hr is above 100 but it’s a good quick indicator if your fate is fast where u then check manually. This is pretty good for an app to read heart rate I use it as an assessment when I feel palpitations or in episodes of light heaviness. This app is pretty good
