FAQ

What does this app do?

This app helps you monitor your heart rhythm using your iPhone's camera. By recording your pulse, it can help you identify potential signs of atrial fibrillation (Afib), a common cause of stroke. It then calculates your stroke risk based on established scoring systems and can show you nearby hospitals.

How do I use the app to check my heart rhythm?

To use the app, place the tip of your index or middle finger on your iPhone's camera lens, ensuring your fingertip is relaxed and still. The app will monitor your heart rhythm and take a screenshot when the graph stabilizes. You can then compare your pulse record to identify irregularities.

Is this app free to use?

Yes, based on the provided information, this application is available for free. There are no mentions of in-app purchases or subscription fees.

What devices is this app compatible with?

The app is designed for iPhones and requires iOS version 12.0 or later. It is compatible with a wide range of iPhone models, from iPhone 6 up to the latest models like iPhone 13 series and beyond, provided they have a flashlight feature.

What is the main benefit of using this app?

The primary benefit is to help users proactively identify potential atrial fibrillation, which is a significant risk factor for stroke. Early detection through this app can prompt users to consult with a doctor, leading to timely treatment and potentially preventing serious health events like cardiogenic cerebral embolism.
