Thank you!

Extremely innacurate

I took my hr manually and it was about 100, then I used the app and it was 75. This always happens, it says my heart rate is a lot lower than it actually is.

Amazing

Measures heart rate accurately through your camera, also lets you know about potential health issues (like if your heart rate is faster than average or slower)1

Fake

Ok I’m telling you now this is fake because when it measures you heart rate
It will say something like “did you know that if you let out a loud noise it can spike your heart rate” so I didn’t scream or anything and it magically started rocketing up and when I just did an intense workout it said my heart rate was 50 bpm soo… and how can you expect an iPhone camera to track your heart rate.. don’t waste your storage yall.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for sharing your feedback. The message about heart rate changes is only a general tip shown during the measurement. It is not related to your live result and does not affect the reading itself. If your result seemed too low after an intense workout, that may be related to measurement conditions such as finger placement, movement, lighting, or how firmly your finger covered the camera and flash during the scan. These factors can affect the accuracy of the result. If you'd like us to look deeper, feel free to contact us at help@steps.app.

Not accurate at all

It was off by about 15 beats

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for your feedback. Could you please let us know how you compared the results? For example, were you measuring at the same time using another device (such as an Apple Watch or a medical pulse monitor)? For the most accurate camera measurement, please make sure your finger fully covers the camera and flash, stay still during the reading, and avoid pressing too hard. Even small movements can affect the result. You can contact us directly via help@steps.app.

Blood pressure

Can’t setup

Response from developer

Hello, At the moment, iPhones do not have built-in hardware to measure blood pressure. Because of this, HeartApp cannot measure blood pressure directly using the phone alone. You’ll need to use an external device for that. You can then log your blood pressure values manually in the app to keep track of your results. Should you need any assistance or have further questions, feel free to contact us at help@steps.app

Your heartbeat

I love it so much. It helps me when my heartbeat is really low or really high or in the middle. I just really love it and I’m glad that this app is free and available for anyone.
