About

Your heart is always giving you feedback. HeartCue makes it audible. HeartCue turns live heart-rate readings from Apple Watch into a simple pulsed tone. As your BPM changes, the feedback changes with it: higher rates sound quicker and higher; lower rates sound slower and lower. LISTEN. BREATHE. NOTICE. Start a session, settle into a comfortable position, and listen to your pulse. Breathe slowly and comfortably—without straining—and use a longer, easy exhale. The changing sound helps you notice how your heart responds in the moment. A SIMPLE BIOFEEDBACK TOOL Slow-paced breathing and heart-rate-variability biofeedback have been studied for their relationship with autonomic regulation, stress, and anxiety. HeartCue is inspired by that research and makes a live cardiovascular signal easy to perceive through sound. HeartCue reports heart rate, not heart-rate variability, and the app’s specific audio mapping has not been clinically validated. DESIGNED FOR MINDFUL MOMENTS • Wind down after a demanding moment • Bring attention back to your breath • Add live feedback to meditation • Notice your body’s response before sleep • Explore the connection between breathing and pulse BUILT FOR APPLE WATCH • Live heart-rate readings with your permission • Tone pitch and pulse speed follow BPM • Simple one-tap start and stop • Adjustable volume on your wrist • No account, ads, subscriptions, or cloud service PRIVATE BY DESIGN HeartCue processes Health data on your Apple Watch. It does not transmit or sell heart-rate data. Temporary workout sessions are discarded when you stop. IMPORTANT HeartCue is a general wellness and self-awareness tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Results vary. Stop if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable. If you have a health concern, seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Do not use HeartCue to make medical decisions or during activities that require your full attention. Requires Apple Watch, watchOS 10 or later, and permission to read heart rate in Health.
