Fun stories

This app lets you earn hearts to “buy” chapters and is much more generous than some other apps out there but to buy the coins to read one book is still crazy expensive. Enjoying the books I’ve started so far though.

Heartless Alphas Beloved Luna

I have had no issues, navigating the app etc. The story is dragging, and I resent paying for in-app purchases. So more opportunity to earn more coins/hearts would be awesome.

Scam- DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

I downloaded this app to read and when I attempted to purchase the “heart” currency they use it failed even though I had sufficient funds. Come to find out I was charged FOUR times and never received any of what I was trying to purchase. The app didn’t send a single receipt. Not one email confirmation about the purchases actually going through and now I am struggling to get a refund. All these stories can also be found FOR FREE online.

Scam does not fulfill subscription

I purchased a subscription and although I have screenshots proving the purchase and a screenshot that says I have a subscription, not one chapter will unlock. I have emailed several times and I have gone to their Facebook and they delete my post when I very politely request them to fix my account. I am now working with PayPal to get a refund. It’s really too bad because it looks like they have great stories but if you purchase a one year subscription, you should get at least a chapter to open up.

Charged my account but didn’t deliver my coins

DO NOT PURCHASE IN APP

The first purchase I made was fine, I got my coins and was not having any issues. Once my coins ran out I tried to purchase more and got an error message in the app. The transaction went through based on my Apple transaction log but I never got the coins. Then I tried to get the subscription and same thing happened, the app says the transaction failed but my Apple account shows an active subscription and I got a confirmation email for the transaction. I have reached out to Heartify support but based on previous reviews it appears they are not responsive so I guess my next step is disputing it with Apple. There is clearly an issue with the app that is not getting fixed so beware trying to purchase anything.

Tried purchasing coins and they took the payment but I never received any coins. I’m having to dispute the purchase through PayPal now because I can’t get a response through email from this bunch!!!!!

Cheaper than most

Cheaper than most reading apps and gives you the chance to earn coins by just checking in, still an expensive way to read books if you don’t want to wait to accumulate coins though

Needs to be user friendly.

I enjoy listening to audiobooks; however, this app does not allow me to multitask. There are other audiobook apps that allow you to have the soundtrack running in the background while you do other things like read email. I also wish the chapters were less costly. The narration is not great either.
