Good but can be frustrating
Sinse you pay - no annoying advertisements. Most every hearts game I try it is rare to shoot the moon, but not in this game. I have shot the moon by accident more times than I can count.
You need that buffer of points though since YOU must stop another moonshot attempts. The AI players let each other and often yourself shoot the moon on a regular basis,
The programmers of this and most every other hearts game lay their heavy hand in to make sure you do not win every game. I have come in second place many times despite shooting the moon twice.
The computer can be ruthless often causing me to laugh at the number of mismatched deals, where you and one other player has almost all of one suite. Some of this heavy handed programming must be done or a good player would win almost every game.
If you really tire of the cheating you are allowed some cheating yourself. As long as it is not the NO TRADE round you can ask for a new shuffle. Keep in mind that if you do not know where Q of spades is that well over 60% of the time the player to your left has it.
Also the program seems fond of loading you up with a lot of clubs. You rarely receive many spades and if you have 4 with one being queen that is not enough to be able to get rid of her due to the suits being off balance.
I am able to win some now even without reshuffle request because I now recognize some patterns and have a good guess on what will happen next

Geringe Bildschirmauflösung
Die maximale Bildschirmauflösung von Hearts XT beträgt nur 1050x790 Bildpunkte. Das ist gerade mal 40% HD-Auflösung! Wenn man das Fenster auf Bildschirmgröße maximiert (27 Zoll), ist alles unscharf und pixelig. So macht das Spielen auf einem Mac keinen Spaß! Und dafür habe ich 7 Euro bezahlt.
Fast perfekt - bitte noch die Uhrzeit sichtbar machen während des Spiels….
….sonst verpasse ich wieder mal meinen Zug 😂
Awesome hearts experience
If you don’t need online multi player then you cannot do much better then Hearts XT. The only problem is the distraction from the guy smiling at you from the other side of the table.

The price is worth it no matter what your playing ability.
Settings allow plenty of adjustment for skill level.
With so many dodgy mobile games out there this one is solid enough to play on your desktop.

Best out there, except...
I have downloaded and tried every hearts game in the App Store. This is by far the best out there. EXCEPT, I’m calling BS on the algo under the hood. You will not be playing 3 players, but rather 1. I’ll explain why. My dad and I are highly skilled in hearts and have logged thousands of games. We’ve mastered card counting and could literally beat anyone and everyone. However, the algorithm that runs this game heavily cheats. You will constantly eat the queen with a 4, sometimes even a 3. And this is when a suit hasn’t gone around once. You can have 4-5 backers and you’ll still eat the queen due to the computer pinning all the tricks to your right. The funniest part is hearts will almost always be broken with the Ace. Who does that? So yes, you can run the deck (almost the only way to win), but even if you have the most amazingly low hand and you can literally duck anything... you won’t be able to. Remember, it’s not 3 people you’re playing. You’re playing 1 person (computer) using 3 hands, so you’re at an extreme disadvantage right away. It’ll destroy the most skilled players. Gotta dock 1 star for that. It’s fun but if you’re skilled, be prepared to be very frustrated.

Very impressive
This is a serious Hearts app, with excellent options ad gameplay. The screen is a bit cramped for my liking on a 12.9 iPad and it costs a fair amount to go add free, but at least a one off add free payment is an option.
Sehr schön gemacht
Wie auch die anderen drei Kartenspiele ist diese App sehr zu empfehlen! Die Regeln sind gut erklärt, umfangreiche Hilfefunktionen und Einstellmöglichkeiten der Gegner.
Allerdings würde ich mir wünschen, dass der Autor auch das iPhone X voll unterstützen würde (der gleiche Wunsch gilt für die Skat und Doppelkopf App).
Dennoch volle fünf Sterne für eine vollwertige Premium App ohne lästige Werbung und mit guter KI!

Als Fan der anderen Kartenspiel-Apps des gleichen Anbieters habe ich gleich zugegriffen, auch wenn ich das Spiel vorher nicht kannte.
Hat sich gelohnt! Macht viel Spaß und kann ganz schön nervenaufreibend sein - ein kleiner Fehler und die Gegner drehen ein sicher geglaubtes Spiel ruckzuck um... aber es gibt ja den Assistenten, der einem hilft, das beste aus seinem Blatt zu machen.
