Heartwood: 75 Day Challenge

Heartwood is a calm tracker for 75-day challenges. Every day is a ring with one arc for each rule. Finish the day's rules and the ring seals and becomes a growth ring of your own tree. Apple Health checks off your workouts, steps and water for you, and the classic challenges are free for good. No account, no ads, and nothing is sold before your first ring. A DAY IN HEARTWOOD • A workout from your Apple Watch fills its arc by itself and shows its proof: "Outdoor run · 47 min · 7:12 · Apple Watch" • Tap to add a glass of water, enter your pages, take your progress photo • The last rule closes the ring. It turns to wood and settles into the trunk • Forgot to log something? Yesterday stays open until today ends THE CHALLENGES, ALL FREE • 75 Tough: two 45-minute workouts (one outdoors), your diet, no alcohol, a gallon of water, 10 pages, a progress photo • 75 Medium: a 45-minute workout, your diet, 2.5 L of water, 10 pages, 10 mindful minutes • 75 Soft: eat well, a 45-minute workout, 3 L of water, 10 pages • Winter Arc, to December 31: a 45-minute workout, 10,000 steps, 2.5 L of water, 10 pages, a journal • Lock In 30, No Sugar 30, Dry Month, 10K Steps 30 and Read 30 Before you start you can change any amount, switch a rule off, and choose strict or flexible. APPLE HEALTH AS PROOF Heartwood uses Apple Health (HealthKit) to read your workouts, steps, water and mindful minutes, so those rules check themselves off. Two workouts must be two separate sessions, and an outdoor workout must be outdoors. The water you log in Heartwood is saved to Apple Health. Health data stays on your iPhone: it is never sent anywhere and never used for advertising. Everything also works by hand. MISS A DAY? YOUR RULES • Strict: a missed day ends the attempt. It stays in your grove as a stump with its rings, and you start again at Day 1 • Flexible: a missed day becomes a pale ring and the end moves one day later • A flexible challenge can pause when you are sick or injured • Nothing is thrown away: every attempt keeps its rings, proof and photos A PHOTO A DAY • The camera shows yesterday's photo as a faint outline, so every photo lines up • Photos stay inside Heartwood on your iPhone, with an optional Face ID lock • Finish a challenge and Heartwood makes a timelapse of your photos • Share cards for a day, for milestones, and a certificate at the end ALSO • A grove of every tree you have grown • A Home Screen widget with today's ring • Quiet reminders, morning and evening. No sound, no guilt • Time zones and clock changes never skip or repeat a day • Backup export and import for your challenges and days HEARTWOOD PLUS Free for good: every challenge above and adjusting it, one challenge at a time, all Apple Health proof, water, photos, the ring, tree and grove, pause, reminders, share cards, the timelapse when you finish, the small widget and backup. Heartwood Plus adds: building your own challenges (rules of any kind, any length or end date), a second challenge at the same time, the medium and Lock Screen widgets with buttons, a timelapse at any point, cards without the Heartwood wordmark, photo compare, Day 1 as the camera's outline, and three more trees.
