Heat Check: Live Stats Tracker

Setup now takes about a minute. Open the app and you’ll be asked three things: which teams you follow, which players you want to watch, and how loud you want your alerts. Each step remembers what you picked, so going back never costs you anything, and you can skip straight past any of it. At the end you get a recap of everything you chose — the teams, the players, the alert level — before you decide whether to make an account. You don’t have to. Everything works signed out, and signing in later brings your list with you. We ask about notifications once, and then we leave you alone. If you say not now, we might remind you once — at most one reminder a day, never twice in the same sitting, and never again after three. Turn alerts on and we stop asking entirely. If you’ve told iOS no, we’ll point you at Settings, which is the only place that can undo it, instead of showing you a button that can’t do anything. Steadier Live Activities. Game tracking on the Lock Screen holds its connection better and backs off quietly when the network pushes back, so a tracked game is less likely to go stale mid-quarter. More books behind the numbers. Lines now come from a faster source with the old one still underneath it, so the numbers on a matchup are fresher and cover more books.
