App is useless for rewards
The app is useless iff you want to cash in your rewards. You can only use the website foe reward purchases…I’d be making a lot more purchases but I get so frustrated having to hop back and forth between the app and website…dumb.
The #1 hot sauce shop
Been using the HEATONIST app for years now & really enjoy the easy usability of it. Most definitely love the versatility of hot sauces to peruse from as well. Never have ran out of delicious spicy options!
Shipping prices
Just curious as to why it’s so expensive to get anything shipped, I paid almost double the price cuz shipping was so much. It can’t cost that much to get shipping to Canada.

Great sauce selection
I’ve used HEATONIST for a while and have always been happy with the select of sauces and how quickly they’re shipped. One broke in transit and they sent me a new bottle within a day! Great company.
Where are the product descriptions?
You have great products, but poor product descriptions. It would be nice to read a description of each bottle along with its Scoville rating. David B. Boston.

Use the website, not the app
Heatonist is my go to place to order hot sauce, however the app has one massive problem.
You can’t access the “hot” category of sauces on the app. All sauces with a heat score of 7-8( my preferred heat level) are very difficult to find and sort through on the app. Currently if you select the hot category, it sends you to the hottest category, and the only way to find sauces marked as hot is to look through the list of all sauces and find them there.
If this problem gets restored it would be a 5/5 app, as the rest is fantastic. Ordering is easy and the selection is great. I just wish they fixed this issue

Overpriced, rewards redemption not good
Convenient for a centrally located source of hot sauce, other than that, it is overpriced, shipping is high and the rewards redemption system needs work. Not enough info on the sauces and all the good ones are consistently out of stock for indefinite amounts of time.

I love shopping here and will forever continue to. All i ask is that packaging is better wrapped when traveling to overseas addresses! 11/10 as always!

Too much selling, clunky functionality
This app needs an overhaul so that it’s easier to use and to avoid all the pushes. One quick example - one should be able to reorder an item from a previous order with a swipe and a tap or two. Another - why is there a pop up for me to download the app that I’m already using?

This is one of the best websites I have ever come across to get hot sauce. I came across them years ago when I started watching season one of hot ones on YouTube Heatonist came up with a website and now I’m so glad they have an app that’s so much easier to use, I recommend anybody that is a heat connoisseur to use this app to fulfill their vice.
