English meaning

This app has a good repertoire of verbs, but for some reason some of the verbs lack the English translation… 🤦‍♂️.

I get by using google translate when the verb lacks its English translation, but I’m just confused as to why translations are not there for every verb. It comes across as a little incomplete.

Useful verb chart, easy to use

I moved to Israel last year and began to learn Hebrew. Unfortunately most dictionaries won’t conjugate verbs and it takes someone who knows Hebrew well to figure out how to search for the meaning when you don’t know the root of the verb. With this app, you need some elementary understanding of Hebrew, but once you have that, this app is amazing, it opens up the language completely. I use it on almost a daily basis at this point. Thank you developers!

Not helpful for the beginner

This app is not helpful for the beginner. Instructions in Hebrew. Some of us are at the beginning.

Terrific app

I've been studying Hebrew for years, and love this app. It's true that not every single Hebrew verb is included, but even for the advanced student, veryln few are missing. The look-up is so easy - you type in ANY form of the verb, even the tsivui (imperative) or the future feminine plural, and a list comes up of that spelling in every binyan (one of the seven verb patterns) in which it occurs. Look for the name of the binyan you're working with, click on it, and you get the entire layout of that specific verb in that specific binyan, including very clear nekudot (vowel pointings), its shoresh (root), and if indicated, the letter of the root which causes a deviation from the normal pattern of the binyan. You don't have to figure out the past masculine singular form of the verb to begin the search, as is the case with other verb tables. Heck, just give it the infinitive if you feel like it!

I haven't picked up an old-fashioned luach (table) since the first day I downloaded this one. If you're at the beginning of learning Hebrew, ask your teacher to show you the names of the binyanim, and then help you see where they are listed when you look up a verb. When you are able to do that, you can use the app for as much as you'll need in the beginning. As you learn more Hebrew, you'll begin to use the more advanced parts of the information provided, in a natural way.

This could possibly be the best spent money to advance your studies, besides a good teacher or Israelis to hang out with!

Very Useful companion to dictionary & Ulpan Ivrit

I am using this as a reference for Ulpan Ivrit and am very pleased that I can look up conjugated verbs but am disappointed that not all verbs in the book are included in this application and not all verbs have English translations. I had to use Wiki to help me. I also agree that the instructions need to be in English otherwise they are useless.
I do like the audio video. The app has much promise. Very useful... Most of App is now working with OS 8 but video is Not. Please fix.
