DOES NOT WORK

I tried to measure my height 5 times WITH NO SUCCESS! DELETE THIS APP, IT’S GARBAGE!!

Disappointed

I found this app by searching up how I can measure my self so I was pretty happy about that though later realising that it does not work. It claimed that I was 4’7 which I know that I am not, but I still had faith in it so I tried again. Yet another failure it said I was 5’0 and I know I’m at least 5’4 and the fact that it changed it measurement of me so drastically is not good at all.
Don’t get this app. I normally don’t care if an app is bad so I never write reviews but this is just sad.

Hi there, the accuracy of the measurement is written on the final measurement itself, and the app appears to be just as accurate as it usually is. It can is usually be within about +/- 6' for human heights when standing as still as possible, and +/- 3' for immobile objects like a table, reason being it is measuring height using on the surrounding air pressure, and slight movements will disrupt the air pressure. The app can thus measure disruptions in air pressure due to movement and can provide you with an 'accuracy'. You can always use that as a guide as to how accurate your measurement will be - this is always lower the more stable your device gets. The best possible scenario is a measurement within 3' for a completely immobile object in a room with minimal air flow (e.g. all fans off), like the height of the table. Try that, and you should get very accurate results. For human heights, because your phone may be moving around slightly as it's not easy to keep it still on your head, the accuracy will be lower. Hope this helps!

not bad

i decided to test what the app thought my height was.. im 5’11 and the app thought i was 6’5.. im honestly not complaining, id love to be 6’5 lol

Best app for measuring my height

Okay so at first it said I was 4 feet but then I did it again and it said I was 4 10 so could use some improvements but the app worked pretty good

Hi there, I'm sorry for the experience you encountered. Can you please send me an email from within the app with a more detailed description of the issue? This will help diagnose and more quickly resolve the bug. Thank you! - Wern Jie

Wow

Hi there, Glad you had a great experience! :) - Wern Jie

oh.

I measured my height and got 4’7. Then, I measured it again ( the same way) and got 4’2. Wouldn’t believe this app, clearly doesn’t like when it says that it’s not completely accurate.

Response from developer

Hi there, The maximum accuracy of this app is the result +/- 3 inches, thus your measurement is actually relatively accurate. You would have known the accuracy if you read the description of the app. Furthermore, the message warning you about inaccuracies can change, telling you that a measurement you made is indeed accurate if you followed the instructions well. The accuracy of your height measurements are dependent on whether you are keeping your device sufficiently still, level, and not in an area with significant air pressure changes (e.g. windy environments or a fan blowing near the device). Thus, if it detects that your phone is in any of the cases, it'll warn you that the result is not accurate. Measurements taken when placing your phone on your head isn't that accurate, as your head is usually neither level nor still. Try measuring a fixed object's height, e.g. a table, and you'll notice that the app will inform you that the result is accurate as a table doesn't move. Anyway, this app is for entertainment purposes only and isn't recommended for use in measurements where high accuracy is needed, since it has half a feet of uncertainty in measurements. Hope this helps! - Wern Jie

Trash

It keeps crushing every time. What a waste!

Hi there, Sorry for the inconvenience caused. The issue has been fixed in the latest update, as the app was previously incompatible with iOS 13. Can you please try again and see if it works? - Wern Jie

Horrible. Waste of money

Never has been accurate. It does not properly measure height. The only reason it got one star is because u have to mark one. Want money back.

Response from developer

Hi, Sorry for your experience with the app and this late response. This app measures with higher accuracy when your device is extremely stable and no hand shakes are included, such as while measuring the height of a table. There is also an accuracy gauge that states how accurate the measurement is just below the measurement displayed. The reason it only measures accurately while its stable and not shaking, is because by moving your phone, you influence the reading of the "barometer" sensor in your phone, which reduces the accuracy. Try measuring something static, don't move your device while measuring, and be amazed by the results :) Hope it works!

Not accurate at all

Don't bother
