Thanks for the update

Trying to use this application in the future/coming days. Update made it little confusing at first, but eventually I got it. Keep improving this application. With Kind Regards ~

Works

Great app though I wish I could re-order my cards by dragging them.

Vertical card support lacking

This app works okay. And for its default case (apparently US-size portrait mode greeting cards) it does what it’s supposed to do. However, cards in landscape mode are not displayed correctly in the overview that is all portrait mode, which a can forgive. Cards get displayed in a fun and interactive way. However, this is very annoying for postcards which are (generally speaking in landscape orientation) and have a front and a back. No more, no less. In these cases the app cuts away several mm of the image to fit the interactive display, which is not all what I want.

Response from developer

Hello, thanks for using Hello There. The interactive card feature enabled by default is best used with standard sized foldable greeting cards, portrait and landscape. Some cropping I needed in order to satisfy the design and animation. However you can manually adjust cropping with each scan you capture. For cards like postcards, it’s recommended to disable the 3d animations. You can do this in the settings of each project.

This app fills my organizational soul!

I am a cardmaker and I’m actually using this app to organize cards I have made and sent. Not the use it was intended for but it’s working out fabulously for my needs! Thanks to Ryan for all his help with my questions, he’s wonderful to work with! Definitely recommend for cardmakers and those who wish to save precious cards they receive. Marcy

THE BEST APP EVER!!!!

Really cool and a great way to safely store my cards. Thanks! I looooooove this!

Very happy with this app

Beautifully and well designed app that allows me to save birthday cards and other greeting cards in a digital archive. I wish I had this app years ago!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words!

I think I may know how to use it

Thanks

Great app!

Really useful for saving my favorite / sentimental cards. Love the interface as well! Super clean and easy to use.

Great

Really cool and a great way to safely store my cards. Thanks!

Too Confusing

I’m an older woman who thought I could learn this, but I can’t. It’s got too many steps or screens to use. I just wanted cards to choose from and an easy way to send them to my contacts. I really don’t have that many contacts where I would want to frustrate myself with this app. I do not want even the free app. I’m sure someone with the tech background will find this easy, butI I’m not that person.

I wanted to like this

I was looking forward to using this app, signed up for a subscription, and then went to try it out. They have 3 card designs. 3. What?! That is an insanely limited number of options. Do a quick App Store search for a card sending app and you’ll find limitless options.

Response from developer

Hey thanks for checking out my app! If you’re looking for endless scrolling of greeting cards to buy, certainly there are many other apps for that purpose as you stated. My app’s primary function is to catalog, sort, and enjoy the cards you’ve already received. The option to send a ‘thanks’ or blank inside card is a secondary feature designed for a quick send, while adding that personal touch of a hand written letter. I think if you spent some time building your library of cards into Hello There you would really like the feature set the app offers!

Brilliant!

Just what I needed to archive all of my Christmas cards.

Simple interface, important functionality

I’m a nostalgic person, and keep greeting cards from loved ones. This app helps declutter my life without making me feel like I’m throwing important things away.

Great potential, not great execution.

It has great potential, and is a wonderful idea, but forces you to crop the photos and sometimes the cards don’t fit properly. If they let you do a manual crop or just took the image you took, would be way better.

Also can’t zoom in when viewing cards. When you try to it immediately zooms back out

Response from developer

Hey thanks for your feedback. Version 1.1 introduced a new expand button for the rare occasions a card image might not fit the view properly. The zoom bouncing back is by design. Will definitely take your thoughts into consideration! Update 3.25.23 Auto crop is now available! Also pinch to zoom has been rewritten 🤙

Genius idea

This app is great! I’ve got a load of cards and never know what to do with them, so they just take up space never being seen in drawers for years. I like to digitise everything if I can, so this is perfect for me. Really well made, pleasure to use.
