Just use any other AI. Not really evidence based; CLEAR biases written into the base code
I asked it questions about birth that I know the answers to in order to test. Perplexity AI gives much better, nuanced information with much more reliable (and faster) sourcing. When asked to steelman the argument against certain decisions for newborns, clear biases show through using phrases like “some parents believe despite…” It can’t actually just give the opposing argument. Doesn’t cite primary studies, just keeps sending people to presumably the orgs own birth plan sheets. It also refuses to acknowledge any situation where the terms “mother” or “women” should be used in place of “birthing person” even when my preference is to use those terms in my account. Wont give me a straight answer on whether it’s code doesn’t allow it to use biologically accurate terms and claims that “social” issues of birth are “equally” as important as physical which is insane when discussing questions of medical decision making that obviously implicate physical impacts on women more than any social or political impact. Useless garbage very biased app.
