From your next CQ to a QSL card worth keeping.
HelloHAM brings your amateur radio tools together on iPhone. Log contacts, look up repeaters, create QSL cards, plan satellite passes, and give your words a rhythm in Morse, at home or in the field.
LOG YOUR CONTACTS
Record callsigns, frequencies, modes, sent and received reports, time, equipment, antennas, and notes. Search, edit, and filter your log. Use FM, DMR, SSB, CW, FT8, or FT4 with mode-specific RS, RST, or SNR reports.
Optionally add location, Maidenhead grid, altitude, place name, and an Apple Weather snapshot. New and edited QSO drafts are saved locally so you can continue later.
VOICE & TEXT CAPTURE
Speak your contact details, type them, or paste existing text. Extract callsigns, frequencies, modes, reports, equipment, and antennas. Choose between candidates, review each field, and confirm before applying it to your QSO form.
On-device speech recognition supports Mandarin and English on compatible devices. Text entry is also available. Audio and source text are not uploaded, and recordings are not saved.
EXPLORE MORSE CODE
Convert text to dots and dashes, or decode them back to text. Use international Morse or Chinese telegraph codes, with mainland and Taiwan code tables for Chinese characters.
Play Morse audio with adjustable speed and pitch. Listen through the microphone and view decoded text in real time. Audio is processed on your device. Match the sender's speed and pitch, and check decoded results against the original.
CREATE QSL CARDS
Turn a logged contact into a high-resolution QSL image. Choose Outdoors, Radio waves, or Classic layouts showing callsigns, frequency, mode, sent and received reports, and UTC time accurate to the second. Save or send your card with the iOS share sheet.
Cards reflect your personal log and do not provide mutual confirmation or third-party certification.
REPEATERS & CHANNEL REFERENCES
Browse mainland China repeater references by region, mode, name, or frequency. Check RX, TX, tones, and sources, and favorite useful entries. Downloaded directories work offline. Map placement and station distances are available only for records with actual station coordinates.
Browse built-in China-focused channel references for public and shared radios, amateur emergency communications, and maritime safety. Search, favorite, copy frequencies, and review sources offline. Follow the listed equipment and licensing requirements.
PLAN SATELLITE PASSES
Track the ISS and selected amateur radio satellites. View azimuth, elevation, sky tracks, and pass windows for the next 48 hours. Use the camera and compass for AR antenna pointing guidance, set local pass reminders, and view ISS frequency and Doppler compensation references.
KEEP CONTROL OF YOUR DATA
Logs and drafts stay on your device. Import and export ADIF files, create and restore full local backups, and use in-app backup reminders. Downloaded repeater data, built-in channels, and unexpired orbit data work offline. Weather and data updates require a connection. Red night mode helps with viewing after dark.
No registration is required for basic tools. Location, camera, microphone, speech, and notification permissions are requested when needed. No background location tracking or automatic log uploads.
References do not indicate live operation or coverage. Satellite and AR accuracy depends on orbit age, observer location, and phone sensors. Follow local radio regulations. HelloHAM does not connect to or control a radio; Morse audio is not an RF transmission.
