Errors in multiple languages
The audio has errors for multiple languages. In Arabic the word for fish is clearly written as “samak”, but the app pronounced it as “sam”.
I found similar issues in Spanish, German, and Mandarin. The audio is from a machine translation source so it doesn’t sound very natural in many spots as well.
If trusting the accuracy of what you’re learning is a big point for you, especially given the $30 to $150 price range, maybe check out something else.
If you’re an Anki user and you are fine with machine pronunciations, then this provides variety beyond just flipping cards.

Confused
I didn’t know how to get answers other than to leave a review. So I downloaded the hello Talk app first and accidentally purchased the hello words plus subscription for 1 year; which I know you can’t refund or switch them so I’ve been trying to figure out how to use the subscription that I paid for. But when I downloaded hello words, it prompts me to pay for the subscription I already paid for. So basically I paid for something I’m not even able to use. So if you can fix this issue and tell me how to use what I paid for, I can and will definitely leave a real review about the app, if you can tell me how I can use it.

Thanks for letting us know this. Please follow these steps to log in on the HelloWords app: Tap Profile - Account, then select the [Sign in] button at the bottom. Tap [Sign in with third-party account], then select [Sign in with HelloTalk]. Click the [Confirm] button. If it still doesn't work, email us at hellowords@hellotalk.com.
doesn't work
i use hellotalk's version of hellowords daily and i love it! so i tried getting the actual app. it keep bugging and kicking me off mid lesson even if i still have time left? i can't get through three words without having to reload. also even as i'm getting it right it plays the incorrect sound, so i look stupid. 2 stars though because the hellotalk version is amazing and so so helpful
