Helmline

Helmline is a native iPhone control surface for your own self-hosted AI agent runtime. Connect to a compatible Hermes Gateway running on your Mac or VPS, then keep track of work without moving the runtime or its data onto your phone. With Helmline you can: - Continue private sessions and streamed conversations - Follow active runs and inspect execution status - Review sensitive approval requests with Face ID or device passcode confirmation - Share text, links, images, and audio from the iOS Share Sheet - Record voice input and longer audio for transcription by your selected Gateway - Manage multiple isolated Mac and VPS connections - Follow task status through Widget and Live Activity surfaces - Run, pause, resume, and remove supported automations The iPhone app does not execute desktop tools locally. Files, tools, models, credentials, and long-running work remain on the host and Gateway you control. Helmline is free, requires no Helmline account, contains no advertising, and has no in-app purchases. Gateway credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain. Helmline is independently developed. It is compatible with the open-source Hermes Agent project but is not an official Nous Research product and is not endorsed by Nous Research.
