Deleting ASAP

Disgusting ads. Newest one is a nearly naked girl grinding on a pole. JFC

Wow

I mean the integrity of my crossplay games is completely toast now but cool app

I really like it but ….

I really like using it when I am stuck during a game and love the opportunity to learn from it but the ad never ends. I have to close Helper to move past it.

Almost perfect solver

Ha! Useful when you're 'stuck', indeed. This is like a nuke in the hand of a rogue country. It's easy to tell when an opponent is using it, and many are. Good reason to quit playing Crossplay.

Great, except for the terrible ad experience

Fullscreen ads take over from time to time, which would not be a problem except they cannot be closed without quitting the app. This is a broken experience.

Response from developer

Unfortunately ad vendors are making full screen ad experiences worst and worst every year. Most of them have a way to close them, but it can be a little convoluted. We do offer a 1 time purchase that will remove ads forever and costs less then lunch will today. (Note: we will likely move to a subscription in the future, so grab this deal now if you want it.)

App can’t discern O and I

Consistently misreading O and I, and in order to change it you have to watch another ad. Looks to be by design, it was working fine previously.

Please email us a screenshot with the issue and we can take a look at it. support@firecrackersw.com

Be careful

Horrible app and it’s creepy

Needs work

The importing does not load and it takes too many attempts to bring in the puzzle from the pic

Full Access to Photos?

Why can we not limit access to photos? Seems very creepy that you require full access and don’t let people limit what you can and can’t access. What are you doing with our photo data?

Not Great - Ads Ruin it

Works good until an add completely wipes out what you are doing, causing you to start over. Very annoying and too frequent.

Brings letters in that aren’t there

Doesn’t work. Gives you words that you can’t use because it adds whatever letters it feels like.

Lots of ads that play for a long time

I’m editing my review to note the many long ads users have to watch in their entirety. No way to show disinterest quickly.

Blatant cheating - not “helping”

This App requires users to allow the app full access to all photos on the user’s device for the app to operate. The app developers need to bar use of personal photos for any other purpose - other than the Crossplay game.
The app gives users optional answers with big points. I only use it when I’m behind and stumped or if I think my opponent is using it.

Don’t need to track

Deleted- way to much tracking and it’s not necessary other than to sell my information. Wants access to all of my photos for screen shots of the game. Not necessary and wants to see what I’m purchasing, looking at and doing just so it can help me with a game of spelling words. No I’m good. I was using it yes but for about 3 min then stopped.

Response from developer

The photos permission is required to see your screenshots, since screenshots are stored along side your photos. How else would you expect us to read your screenshots if we can't see them? Most of the other permissions are because we have advertisements in our app and will appear for any ad supported app. You can choose not to be "tracked" by declining tracking after installing the app. You will still see ads, but they won't be as relevant to you.
