Can’t Login
This is something I never do is leave negative feedback. The reason for it now is I have contacted them 4 times over the last year with no response. They have hundreds of dollars in magazines of mine I can’t get to. So if you want an app that will take care of you get the ZINIO magazine app. I wish I had switched all my buying of Hemmings magazines to them a long time ago. Great support team at ZINIO. A couple of hours to 24 and they have your problem fix. This is a JUNK app don’t get it and buy magazines through it.

Don’t waste your time and money
After many attempts to justify the quirky apps and repeated inability to access the online service I am paying for, I have finally pulled the plug. Right now, I think this was just a subscription con job.
Missing the old site
Why did they abandon the old site?! It usually worked fine, and I checked it daily for new articles or to browse classifieds. For me, it wasn’t broke, so why replace it?
Broken
?? This app is broken. I tried to reinstall many times. What happened to the original app? This is a crome-o resto mod with a blown engine and nos frame.
Old site is gone?
I guess the old site with the ability to search through all the ads is gone, eh? Such a pity. This magazine app is useless.
Can’t get the app to download additions
I just cancelled my subscription out of frustration. It’s the only mag I have trouble downloading. It beyond frustrating for it to constantly allow you to preview the first few pages then ask you to subscribe to continue. I then go to Apple to check my scripts for the 5th time and realize I have already paid. Hemmings go to Motor Trend and copy their process. Enough already.

Great content, dreadful app
Hemmings is a great publication...in print. The app hangs up when loading and sometimes does not load at all. If, and when it starts, browsing through an issue can be painfully slow. Navigating through an issue is more difficult than previous versions as some options have been removed. If you like Hemmings, stick with the paper version!

Great magazine, horrible app
App makes me re-download the issue almost every time I use it. Big pain because it also looses your place when it erases the issue each time. Called customer service and they were no help. Unfortunately can’t save a tree - stick to the printed issue.

Paid my money and only got the first four pages of the only issue I'll ever make the mistake to try to buy. Stay away!
Slow or slower...
You can buy a single issue for $4.99 or a three month reoccurring subscription for slightly more.

The issues are beautiful and nice to flip through, they look just like the publication.... But again...don't plan to be at the hospital, airport or your sister in-laws when your starting to download the issues.

Digital problems
I enjoy reading my subscriptions digitally but have had a recurring problem with the downloads on various publications. I will do a total download to my iPad and start to read from the beginning when I reach a certain page of the publication and the following page(s) are gray with a spinning wheel equivalent to a Windows hourglass. This is terribly annoying. Contacting the HMN technical support has been less than helpful solving this problem. My "solution" is to delete the digital magazine and then download it again. I have cleaned out the memory on my device and that was not the problem. I like the digital subscriptions but may not renew them when they expire.

Sloooooowwwww!
I'll repeat what others have already said; it takes a very, VERY long time to download one issue (12 minutes for the March 2014 issue with a full strength wifi signal!). but to add insult to injury it processes each page after the download which makes reading the magazine almost painful.

Downloads continually hang. Does not recognize. My account. The other Hemmings online magazines work fine -this one is crap. Zero stars for the app - the content is great.
Slow.....
Slow with confusing UI. After creating your account you have to login by hitting the "lock" icon. Slow as hell

Login every time???
The new release is almost as slow as before, and now it requires your user name and password every time you open the app!!! Other apps remember your login--not this one....Please fix!

Crash City
I have had to delete this app often when it stops working. I keep reloading to start over. When it works, the app is quite good.
